We returned yesterday from a long weekend in Brussels following much planning and reading of the reviews for this hotel. I had doubts about the decor, size of bathrooms, cleanliness and location following previous reviews but I am pleased to say all unfounded! The entrance lounge is large, tastefully decorated - as expected in a 5 star hotel. Reception staff...

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous time at this hotel for a short weekend stay in Brussels. The hotel location is perfect to the train station ( literally 1/2 a block) and only a few blocks to the subway. We enjoy walking and had no problem walking back from the center of Brussels where the shopping and main...

Having picked up a voucher off e-bay for £80 for two nights, we consider this a bargain. Ok, the EU district is nothing special, but the standard of room and breakfast for the price is not to be moaned at. Bus 12 takes you direct from the airport to opposite the hotel in Rue de Luxembourg. 6 euros for two....

Well having stayed at the Renaissance just last weekend, I wonder if some of the previous reviewers had an unusually bad experience there, or were perhaps even looking for faults. We had no complaints at all. The standard rooms are quite small, admittedly, but ours on the 6th floor was clean and absolutely fine for a three-night stay. We liked...

This used to be one of the best hotels in Brussels, befitting its location one block from the European Parliament, but it has definitely slipped a grade. It's an acceptable standard business/tourist hotel at standard prices but not at the premium prices that hit Brussels at certain dates. They have quite a lot of quite noisy rooms. The rooms are...

We have just returned from a mini-break in Brussels, and enjoyed every second of our stay at the Renaissance Hotel. From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the moment we left we felt welcomed and the service was excellent. Arriving hours before the check-in time we were worried that we wouldn't be allowed in, but were pleasantly surprised...

This hotel is OK, but I'm not sure I'd stay here again by choice. It depends on why you're in Brussels. If you're here on EU business, then the hotel is quite well located. If you're here for fun, then the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Inside, it looks like it could do with some refurbishment. The public...

Very nice hotel. We were given a room with a view of the EU Parliament -- rooms were clean, spacious, well lit, and comfortable. Sleeping on their beds was wonderful. Breakfast buffet (25 Euros) was spectacular -- lots of warm dishes, breads, cereals, beverages. The Health Club rocked.... we used it during our stay and worked out an hour each...

We stayed at this hotel only one night (had gone to Holland for a few days and returned here the night before our flight out of Brussels) and chose it because we had Marriott points to use. It served us well for that purpose and was a lovely room. For tourists, I would choose someplace closer to walk to attractions...
