If you are in search of a good location near EU / Commission buildings (as I was) it is the best choice. There are some ups and downs to this hotel. Hence the breakfast was standard continental, good, plenty with a kitchen staff eager to replenish the food for the guests. The downs were that, for exceptionally hot days in... More

Pros: Breakfast was a lovely continental style affair and probably the best bit of our stay. Staff were helpful and courteous and arranged a late check out for us at last minute with no additional charges. Bathroom was a bit dated in decor but shower had great water pressure and free toiletries are always handy. The hotel gives you a... More

Very small room which wasn't even clean when I checked in (used tissues on the floor). Unstable internet, toilet regularly flooded and to top if off the hotel manager claimed that I hadn't paid and refused to let me check out. She didn't even offer to call booking.com so I had to do so. When booking.com called, somehow the problem... More

The Argus is a nice dependable, basic hotel. Close to the Loiza area, it's situated between two relatively quiet side streets. Easy walking distance from the Louiza Metro station, not many stops from the main Midi station, where the Eurostar pulls in. Plenty of nearby cafes, restaurants and bars and far enough from the EU / Commission buildings to be... More

In a good location but this hotel has nothing else to recommend it. The rooms are very small and could do with a spring clean. The tap water was brown and the kettle scaled. The internet was OK but kept requiring re-application. There was no iron or board in the room and when I collected one from reception it was... More

I spent a night in this hotel and it was ok. There are no luxury in the hotel but it is pretty well located in a perfect zone for resting. The room was wide and clean and the breakfast was ok too. I prefer other girls in the zone but this is also a good option

Stayed there in January cause it was booked due to its closeness to a conference venue. Approaching the hotel which is close to Porte Namur, i.e. Around 15-20 mins from the Central Station already tells you all you need to know: there is no gem hidden behind this facade. The rooms are simply awful, tasteless, the hairdryer not working, holes... More

The hotel is very good located for business and the price for a room is very good, i think you can get it at 40 EUR/room. No matter on what airport you land (Charleroi/Zaventem) the hotel is in reach by public transport very easily. The staff is very friendly and helpful with every request, you can also get a parking... The location is convenient, but I'm not going back here, For this money I don't expect 5 star luxury, but I expect more than this: -tiny room with very basic furniture -rain was leaking through a big hole in my ceiling -breakfast in a windowless basement -unhelpful staff when I had a malfunctioning keycard. -tiny and slow elevator

The Argus hotel is located about a 200 metre walk from the Louise metro stop, 3 stops from Eurostar Brussels- midi station on line 2. The Argus is located in the Ixelles area, with plenty of upmarket shops and lots of restaurants and bars. Upon arrival to the hotel, you can see the hotel sign from the corner of the... More
