Chateau les Carrasses is located just outside of Capestang in Languedoc. A great wine region. There sre no wine production at the Chateau any longer, but the owner is a great wine prioucer. The location of the Chateau is great as a center for going on wine and olive excursions. We lived in appartement 19 with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,...

We went there three friends and stayed at the "bridal suite" or "Le Grand Salon" and we were all left completely speechless, it was stunning! Everything seemed so well taken cared of, properly done, clean and super luxurious. The pool was very clean and had such a beautiful view and the surrounding area was just as stunning as the rest....

This place is very classy, and caters really well for adults and children. Set amidst vineyards in the French countryside, it looks like a Disney castle and at night is lit beautifully. A short drive from a small town but quite far from a beach. You will need a car if you stay here. You're greeted with a lovely welcome...

Words can't express how much my wife and I loved this place...but I will try to! And I don't write TripAdvisor reviews often for our travels, but our experience here was too good to keep a secret. Take a quick flight to Montpellier (most convenient car hire pick up and drop off ever), drive on great roads through to Capestang, marvel at the boats on the Canal du Midi and marvel even more about why more people haven't discovered the joys of this bit of France in late October. We stayed at Chateau les Carrasses with friends following a multi-day wedding celebration at another chateau 15 minutes away. The suites are soft grey and white, peaceful, elegant, serene with stunning views. They seem to be owned by individual owners, perhaps it is a fractional kind of scheme, but there are no private decorations, it is all the same aesthetics...

We stayed at Chateau les Carrasses for 11 nights in August 2016 with our 2 children (aged 10 and 8) and we loved everything about this place. Our house, Maison des Vendangeurs, was smart, stylish and had everything we needed. The estate is the perfect mix of self-catering and hotel facilities. They are very clear that it is not a...
