A very nice hotel in colonial style. The lobby holds an exposition of ancient Indonesian instruments. At night some traditional musicians perform some traditional music. The rooms are rather basic but suffice for a short stay. The atmosphere is great: one can feel the past while wandering through the hotel corridors. The location is perfect if one wants to visit...

Roomsize is ok, room smells stale, very outdated hotel, chairs in restaurant are dirty, bathroom not clean (bloodstains on the floor...), wifi is ok, but only available in one area. Busy hotel, lot of tourists.

Spend 1 night in July (25th-26th) for a stop-over on our tour through Java. A very nice decorated hotel, colonial style, good quality in the restaurant, very nice art on the wall (mainly paintings, like in a gallery), well furnished clean room (deluxe) with airco. So far so good. The night-receptiondesk, unfortunately, made a mess out of it. We had...

Apparently there is a massive difference between the standard rooms and the delux rooms. If you have the chance get an upgrade. The pool is nice and clean. The restaurant has Indonesian, Chinese and western food. I can especially recommend the beef with black pepper. It also is the first hotel we visited on our trip that has a proper...

Kresna Hotel, a bit overpriced i guess. The price can be compared with a 4 stars hotel in big cities. Interior is basic, the exterior its coming from the Colonial time cause this hotel building its quite old. But seems no other choice, then this hotel become the most visited hotel in Wonosobo for tourist.

If you're like me, and prefer 4/5 star accommodation, (at least hot water and a clean bed) then getting stuck in traffic way out in Dieng Plateau on a national holiday weekend, with no hotel booking, then you will be really glad to come across this place. Worse still: no hotels at all shown in Booking.com or other site. We...

We have just been three nights in that hotel convenient as we have been visiting Dieng an hour drive away from there. Yes the hotel is old,but it has its charm and history in that city. Located in the city center near local markets. The food is poor as mostly all precooked and frozen, the resto staff is ok. The reception...

This hotel is the best you can get at Wonosobo...., but don't worry..., you will surely enjoy your stay here..... It's a nice hotel, with not much breakfast menu choices but it taste quite good.... Having conversation with a staff there, the true colonial part of the building is not much, but the renovation really follows the colonoial style....., I...

As others have said, it's a charming colonial hotel set in Central Java in Wonosobo. It's seen better days, but there's character in the hotel and it's architecture. There've been some renovations, so it's an ok spot to hang your hat if visiting the surrounding area. On check-in we were greeted by some folks playing traditional Javanese instruments in the...
