My husband and I stopped at this hotel late evening on our drive from Milan. This hotel has a cozy, romantic, happy atmosphere to it. I felt at home immediately. The twins offered me a very comfortable room with an extremely comfortable bed. Just the right about of Firmness with pillows and comfortable sheets. The room was clean and private....

We booked this as a stop over for the night. Rooms are small but the bathrooms need to be upgraded. Our shower was so small that I couldn't turn around or bend down and the aircon overflow was also rerouted into it. The food items placed out for breakfast included very old hard boiled eggs, slimy slices of ham, watery...

We have small children. We arrived late last week. The owner kindly arranged rooms for us at an affordable price with breakfast included. The hotel is located in the center of town, near the beach. It is conveniently off the highway which give you easy access to Genoa or Tuscany. We have driven to Pisa and come back within the...

Arrived on Monday with my son for a 4 night stay as I have friends in the town. Lovely hotel, perfect for the town of Recco ( just a 5 minute walk) and for the station and buses to the surrounding towns such as Santa Margherita, Camogli and Portofino. Our room was small but perfectly formed, clean and had everything...

Arrived in late afternoon jet-lagged after driving from Milano. We found the place to be charming. Friendly reception, decent room, though ours was quite small. Lots of interesting "stuff" all over the common areas of the hotel: antiques, collectables, memorabilia. We ended up eating that evening in the large restaurant downstairs--quite good. And the breakfast the next morning was amazing,...

After a long drive from Tuscany along the beautiful SS1 through the mountains and along the coast, arriving in Recco was rather disappointing. Let's just say it's not the most beautiful spot on this part of the Italian coast. The place is bursting with character though and is a reflection of the fact that it has been in the same...

Breakfasts are simply amazing: some dishes made from eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurts, fruits, jams, fresh pastry and drinks. The location is good - close to the sea. Good private parking close to the hotel, fantastic substantial breakfast, clean rooms with good facilities. Nothing negative to say

The plus are definitely the good value for money and the good breakfast! The location is very handy for Recco and to visit the places around (like portofino). Even thou Recco is not the best town in the area. The hotel is anyway at literally 6 minutes walking from the beach and you can also have free bicycles. We had...

Had a nice and friendly welcome when I arrived late in the evening. The place is family run with a smile. My room was facing the main street which can be loud despite little traffic at night, but I preferred this large and nicely furnished room over a rather stuffy smelling smaller one in the back that was offered as...
