We spent 3 nights in the B&B. The accommodation is basic, but clean. It has airconditioning. The staff is kind and helpful. The quality of the wildlife guides is excellent..The boat trips are affordable. We saw everything that we hoped to see..from elephants and orangs to rhinoceros hornbills. At the end of our stay in Sandakan we had two more nights and decided to go back again to the B&B to enjoy the views of the river from the terrace and make more boat trips.

Farhan was an outstanding guide with so much knowledge of nature. He is so passionate about what he does and it shows on every trip he leads. He is a true asset for Greenview. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. We have seen several lovely animals and learned a lot. The room was lovely and the food was great and more than enough. It was a very worth while visit. A few tips. Bring some socks to wear with the boots on your forest trek. Suncream is a big help as some afternoon trips can be in the sun for a bit. Some mosquitos but not as many as I expected (maybe other times of the year it may be different). Thank you so much. We really loved the cruises on the river.

My partner and I did the 3D2N plus sepilok package recently and had a spectacular weekend. The accommodation provides breakfast lunch and dinner which was delicious, and the cabins are equipped with aircon and a shower. During our 5 trips on the kinabatangan river we were lucky enough to see proboscis monkeys, hornbills, crocodiles and amazingly witnessed a group of 60-80 pygmy elephants crossing the river! The guides are very knowledgeable and honest about your chances of seeing these animals, and very friendly and accommodating. There are obviously never any guarantees to see wild animals but the guides' inside information and knowledge of the animals behaviour contributed massively to our chances and thankfully a bit of luck was also on our side. I would reccomend this to anyone travelling to Eastern Sabah if you have the time. It was truly an incredible weekend. (My only criticism is that the transfer from the airport did not have seatbelts, but the return journey did.)

We had the best time at Sukau Greenview and saw so much wildlife on the river cruises they run (including a 3 meter croc, snakes and lots of monkeys!) Accommodation is basic but does the job, and the staff were all great. Food was really yummy and they catered well for the vegetarians in our group. I’d definitely recommend this place and their river cruises!

We did the 3-day 2-night tour and added on an evening cruise to the community of Abai and the lake where the fireflies congregate. This was instead of a visit to see the pygmy elephants which had migrated too far away for a visit. We had a room in the Green House which was plain but clean and had air conditioning. During our stay there were early morning, late afternoon and evening boat trips on the Kinabatangan River and an afternoon and an evening rainforest hike. The river is wide and muddy with lots of traffic around the lodge but after just a few minutes of boat travel the river quiets down and we saw a lovely large water monitor and an incredible number of monkeys, including Proboscis, Macaque, Silver Leaf and Red Leaf Langurs, and an Orangutan. We also saw a lot of beautiful birds including hornbills, kingfishers, swiftlets, and owls. During the evening hike we saw a snake. The firefly trip was magical! We went by boat to Abai for dinner with a local family followed by a trip to the lake where thousands of fireflies congregate en masse on certain trees. The guides were great and the food was fine.
