I was here for a couple of nights last month. It really is right on the river and is much bigger than you would think. It is beautiful but of all the 3 wildlife resorts I stayed in on this holiday this was the most basic. I had an air conditioning room. Do state that you want one as there...

Dear Johnramsayoliver, Thank you for your feedback. It's great to know you enjoy the wildlife nature excursion. Yup, welcome to the jungle~ You can go to ATM machine while you at Sandakan town area before going in to Sukau and Abai. Just inform the guide in advance so they can arrange for you. We came here from the very similar Abai Jungle Lodge by boat transfer. Again the rooms are very basic, absolutely no luxuries, and further uncomfortable beds. The decor is again ancient and the bathroom is something out of a time warp from last century. Even the food was similar to our last hotel and certainly not anything to rave about....

We stayed for 1 night at this Lodge. Basic room, but totally adequate for our needs. Staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful and food was delicious. Great place for exploring the Kinabatangan River looking for wildlife.

This was our first rainforest stay after coming from KK. We did a river tour from here and saw crocs, proboscis monkeys and orangutans. The lodge itself was disappointing and one night defo enough. We were in a hut divided into 3 rooms. Small, dark and basic but a decent shower and aircon The food was ok. Staff friendly enough....

This lodge is really one of the best places on the Kinabatangan river, with ample place to relax and spot wildlife, very helpful and friendly staff. Pleasant offer on buffet for breakfast and dinner, basic but cosy cabins or chalets. Be careful to bring your shoes inside your room coz at night there may be dogs of the village entering...

We had a couple of nights here via SI Tours as part of a package and it was the highlight of our holiday. The organisation was amazing, we didn't have to worry about a thing, from the minute we were collected from the airport and were very well looked after by our guide Bryant. We have had plenty of guides...

We stayed here between Borneo Rainforest Lodge (Danum Valley) and Bunga Raya (island off Kota Kinabalu) and this just didn't match the other two. The wildlife was amazing, our guide Ako was great and informative (when he got off his phone...although there was an element of "been here done this 100 times! with him). The rooms were basic, no aircon...

We stayed here for one night at the end of our Jungle trip. The room was spacious but did not have Air Con, but the ceiling fan made the room comfortable enough. For dinner you have to wear a sarong which are provided in your room, a little gesture to experience the local custom. The food was all local dishes...
