After having emailed this accommodation three times with a complaint letter and having received no reply, I can only assume that no attempt is being made to rectify some appalling standards of safety and cleanliness. 1) the food provided was dreadful, both myself and my friend are vegetarian, we have prior notice of this however every meal consisted of white...

I booked a trip to Sipadan with them and I don't even know where to start with... I have never given such a bad review about a place before, but they were the WORST!!! Don't do the same mistake as me and look for another place! It started by charging me much more for the trip, since I wasn't staying...

Pro - I like the environment and local crew that create very relaxing environment with the guess/divers . Food was good . Eat, dive drink , sing & sleep ! Awesome vibe . Room is basic but at least the bed sheet is clean which is good enough for me. Dive equipment was ok. Brought my own mask. Bcd and...

Stayed here for five nights in the end and is an amazing place if you want to go diving. Great communal area to meet people and very relaxing environment overlooking the sea. All inclusive food was also good. Rooms and shower a little worn out but you get what you pay for.

This is our second trip to mabul, but our first time to stay at Mabul backpackers. The accommodation was average(dorm style room with detached bathroom), the food was awesome and the activities was wonderful. Some of us took the budget 4days 3nights snorkeling package with max 7 trips of snorkeling ( mandi sampai muntah :) ) and some of us...

Note to travelers - many places in Mabul use salt water showers and sinks, with waste water dumping directly into the ocean. PLEASE bring biodegradeable or natural soaps and shampoos as harsh chemicals do terrible things to sea life. (And no, we're not tree-huggers or hippies. Just trying to stop the destruction of the reefs.) Let's start with the good...

What can I say, it was absolutely heaven on earth, a paradise.. blue sea spread miles infront of you and the best part was when you exit your room, you could straight away jump into the sea. Thumbs up from me and my family👍🏼👍🏼

This backpacker has a great vibe about it.It comes from the staff and owners. There is a big common area overlooking the ocean where you can relax, read, and laze about after diving or snorkeling during the day. Fwiw, there's not really any snorkelling off the pier, you will have to take a boat to the snorkeling spots,or walk around the island and swim to...

Our stay at the hostel was definetely a trip to remember. The staff and diving instructors made our stay unforgettable, thank you so much for this warm welcome and sad goodbye! We felt so comfortable at this place thanks to you guys. The food was good and the hostel itself had a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are very simple but...

I cannot recommend this place enough, even if you don't plan on diving every day, you can easily spend a week here on the island, enjoying the hammocks and company of instructors and guests. Considering you get three meals a day, and very attractive prices on diving, this is amazing value! While everything from accommodation to food is quite basic,...
