After three weeks in Borneo rainforest lodges, relaxing at this beach reef resort was the perfect ending for a Boarneo vacation. Our bungalow was aging but still pleasant with a great deck over the reef. Meals were served buffet style and there was a good variety of tasty dishes that we enjoyed with the view of the ocean. We are not divers but the resort also supports snorkeling on its many included boat trips to various dive and snorkeling spots. The island itself is small and dent offer much but a small beach. So be prepared to just chill out and enjoy the view, the snorkeling or diving and nice diners with great sunsets. Cant ask for more than that.
This is malaysia’s version of Maldives. With rm10 per entrance you can take a tour around the water bungalow and have tons of pictures taking because it has the best scenery. Best profile picture background for instagrammers. Go and check it out. You can also stayed here from rm1500 per nite.
Meeting & departure at TWA airport was seamless with van& boat transfer to resort all taking approx 3 hrs. Prompt checkin with room assignment on arrival. Sebastian is the resort manager and runs it like a Swiss train, everything on time, no late anything, clearly announced to guests personally of any arrangements regarding diving, dining & departure. Lunch served and briefing was simple. This is a diving resort with a lot of snorkel customers mostly from China. Rooms are spacious and over water as described with nice private outdoor area for each bungalow. Everything was working in the room, small issue with AC once which was promptly repaired. The village is located a long boardwalk out from shore if you wish to visit the sister resort which is land based only. There is no…
Had a great week of diving. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and issue free and food was fine!!We were able to dive Sipadan 3 days straight. The crew were very experienced and looked after the divers exceptionally well. The boat captain was tremendous. Love this place and will go back.
Beautiful setting, lovely private spaces with loads of flowers, but the food was inedible. Don’t go here if you like to eat. Oily, tasteless food, and anything we ate caused us to run to the toilet urgently. Shocking for the price, and have gone on dozens of trips in Asia for a fraction of the price with delicious, clean and fresh food, so shocked at the price for what we got. Nice staff, but Very disappointing with food and cost.
