We stayed 2 nights with our 3 dogs. On arrival mine host Nina welcomed us and made a fuss of our dogs - always a good start. The room was clean and nicely decorated but on the front and was quite noisy at night. We had dinner there both nights which was pub grub but nicely done with lots of...

Three of us stopped today for a late Sunday lunch. We were immediately made to feel welcome and showed to a comfortable table in a nicely decorated room with lovely artwork to admire. Great menu selection as well as Sunday Roasts and specials, and smaller portions for smaller appetites which suited me just fine as I hate wasting good food...

We recently went for a birthday lunch for my wife's birthday the main meals were very plentiful and very nice. We then ordered 2 coffees and 2 desserts which took 90 minutes to arrive. They knew there was a delay as we were told they were just coming 3 or 4 times. The whole experience left us a bit flat...

Fantastic food great company and our dog was welcomed too so lunch was a really enjoyable and affordable experience. The Grove is a culinary revelation with restaurant quality food in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Will be back.

The Grove Arms was a very interesting building, thatched and had lots of history. Our room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful

My wife and I used to come to the Grove Arms some years ago, and in those days it was under different ownership, we were impressed with them, but they left for pastures new, and without being derogatory about them Nina has raised the bar even higher. We only lunch at The Grove, but as we live in Andover the...

I booked here via web site. A really friendly welcome. Room as expected. Food on restaurant was excellent. Down side was wifi non existent in bed room an only worked in one small part of the restaurant. In morning it was cold in bedroom. No heating. By the time the heater generated any heat I was needing to have breakfast....

We were made to feel welcome,by both staff and locals, from the moment we went in. Both the food and beer were excellent as was the accommodation, and we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Hi Tiesetrotter, Thank you for your review on your stay with us - I am pleased we were a welcome break for you on your journey (trek in my eyes) BUT very admirable!! We stayed as a couple in October visiting family, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was included in the price and was very good. The rooms itself was good, however the bathroom was a little dated and needed some tlc but was clean and had all necessities. The main downside is when we stayed it was extremely cold...

Dear Lauren, Thank you for your feedback in relation to your stay with us and I am glad you found the team friendly for your stay with us. It is a little frustrating when we have heating queries as all heating is on a timer however we didn't get cold for the majority of the season until well into November...
