Absolutely the best choice for Quelimane! The property is great, beds wonderful, food terrific and tasty. The view is great. Don't miss the sunrise! It is worth asking about possible specials at their office in town, especially in low season. Raul who brings you out speaks excellent English as does Peter at reception. Great staff.

Zalala Beach Lodge is a really nice place to spend some days off, relaxing and hang by the beach. The lodges are very good, comfortable beds and nice interior. The pool area and sun beds are really nice. Even though the beach isn't anything special, the nearness and breeze from the ocean adds to the experience. If you are in...

It is great if you like comfort in the nature but the lodge itself has no special charm. The nature is pleaseant for its immensity. Food was okay, nothing fancy. Staff kind but not proactive. So windy. Not my first choice in Moz but probably the best option around Quelimane.

Very rare special lodging experience in a unique beautiful setting. Beautiful sound of the ocean and clean air- very charming luxury style bungalows with the most comfortable beds- you could really feel relaxed!! I stayed at Zalala Beach Lodge for 4 days this August, after doing some field work nearby in Quelimane. I found the atmosphere of the lodge very relaxing and had a wonderful few days staying there. The safari-style bungalow where I slept was nicely decorated with a huge, comfortable bed and was very up-to-date and spotlessly clean. The food was...

We stayed for two nights here. Zalala Beach lodge is situated about 44km from Quelimane Town. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Zalala Beach Lodge is situated very close to the beach. The staff were friendly and quick to help. The meals were good especially the prawns. I haven't had such great prawns in a very long time. Thanks to...

We spent almost a week with Angela at Zalala, and had a really wonderful time. What we enjoyed most was the close involvement with the local community, from the work being done with local women and the hiring of local, previously untrained staff to watching daily life go by in the village or on the beach, which is used as...
