Ballykine House is tucked away in a secluded wood, some distance off the road that links Clonbur and Cong, on the edge of the Connemara. It is an idyllic setting, with walks through the forest and around a nearby lake. The scenic splendour of the Connemara is within easy driving distance and the villages of Cong and Clonbur both have...

We enjoyed our time in this lovely home. Our host was very attentive and everything was well presented. Lots of things to do in the area and plenty of useful local information was provided. Our room was spacious and we had extensive views of the countryside.

Very unique country B&B. Extensive grounds, amazing views, great property, well maintained. The owners Ann & Barry are fabulous and have lots of great advice if asked. Located between Clonbur and Conga it is a great base for touring the Connemara area. We only stayed a single night but could easily have enjoyed and entire week here had we only...

After we have found the place and drove up to the house and got out of the car it was immediately "Heaven on Earth"....it was sooo quite, the view is tremendous. The rooms are very well equipped and we had an balcony to enjoy the landscape. The hospitality of Ann is very nice and the breakfast is one of the...

Ann was a terrific hostess and gave us plenty of advice about the local villages. The property has an amazing view and plenty of nature trails to walk on. Located between Cong & Clonbur, there are several pubs and attractions to keep you occupied. Would definitely go back.

Just stayed the one night on a recent fishing trip so didnt get time to sample the full experience. However the most important elements were all present here, its comfortable, clean, well maintained, breakfast is excellent(home-baked brown bread and scones are delicious). Ann & Barry couldnt do enough for us and are very easy hosts. That is to say they...

Great location close to Clonbur and Cong, You can walk to both from here via the woods, avoiding the main road. Rooms are neat if rather over dressed for my taste, but very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom doors seemed very light and noise passed freely through. We found the property to be otherwise well maintained and impeccable however in...

This place has all it takes, an excellent quiet location between lakes Corrib and Mask, the nicest hosts we met so far, superbly kept guest quarters, a very nice varied choice of food for breakfast . Woodland and shore walks can start right behind the house. The villages of Cong and Clonbur are are within walking distance. It is also...
