This is a very special place ..... In the heart of the countryside yet near to Moustiers, St Croix, the Gorge du Verdon - quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Exquisite decor of greys and taupes, limestone floors, rain showers, stone basins - even the cat matches! Spacious, comfortable rooms - just perfect. Beautiful terrace where breakfast can be eaten and a... More

...form the moment we arrived and were greeted by Francoise until we left. While located in a remoter location, it is very easy to explore the Gorge du Verdon area from here and Francoise was very helpful in suggesting things to do as well as excellent local places to eat. The breakfasts gave the day a great start with a... More

My stay at La Maison des Collines was exceptional. We were greeted by the lovely and welcoming owners, Françoise and Frédéric, when we arrived. It is located in the midst of nature, mountains and breathtaking surroundings (this can be a disadvantage, since it is quite hard to find even using a GPS – it happened to us – but it... More

Our stay at la maison was for two nights and we enjoyed it greatly. The facilities are gorgeous, the rooms very comfy and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast ist really the highlight and makes up for the problem that there aren't really many restaurants in the direct area. They are still renovating/upgrafing parts and it really shows how much work... More

Wonderful B&B basically in the middle of nowhere (exactly, what we wanted...), but Gorge du Verdon, Riez and Moustiers St Marie are not far away. We spent a wonderful time here and especially enjoyed the tasteful rooms, the silence, the wonderful breakfast, the views during the day and the stars at night. 100% recommendation!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014 and have not stopped talking about it since! Francoise and Frederic were so natural and genuine that I always felt looked after. We are not very high maintenance, but I always felt that had I needed something, they would have been more than happy. I felt as if... More

Beautiful place run by lovely Francoise :). We only stayed one evening as we were en route to the Gorges de Verdon but it was enough to enjoy the hospitality of our host and her lovely house. Francoise was extremely helpful from the point we arrived till we left. She kindly recommended and made reservations for dinner at various restaurants.... More

We loved the place! The owners were super lovely and helpful (it does help if you speak French though)...Françoise is absolutely the best host ever! The swimming pool area is just a little paradise on it's own. The only regret we had was that we didn't stay longer... This beautiful hidden gem is highly recommended frequently to everyone we know... More

We stayed here in May 2012 and it was the best B&B we had the pleasure to stay in in the Provence. Francois and Frederic were super-nice, their house is new and stylish, with a very nice pool and their breakfast was superb. It was really quiet. Can only recommend to stay there.

Just spent two nights at la maison des Collines. From the smart interior to the stylish pool and splendid breakfast it all made for a relaxing stay. The nearby village of Reiz is also worth a visit as well as good walk into the Gorge.
