Summarized: - We booked a 'junior suite' for 4 nights, which turned out to be a ordinary room. Quite small, but clean. - Upon arrival at 7pm, the guard opened the door. He only spoke Spanish, which we speak but other people might not. - The safely box was broken - There was no WIFI - We didn't have tap/shower/toilet...

We stayed one night at Casa Maryon. First be aware that it is not an hotel, it's a personal house where a couple of rooms have been converted into "hotel rooms". There was only one staff person (very young, not speaking a word of English) who let us in. The house was a bit lugubrious with everything closed (and almost...

My husband and I visit Taganga regularly. This is his fishing paradise. We have stayed at a few places and must say this is "The place" to stay. It is truly a boutique hotel situated in a very rustic fishing village. More than you would have expected hidden behind the huge doors. Rooms are beautifully set out. This has been...

Two friends and I happened to come across this beautiful hotel on booking.com. The price was fair and the pictures were beautiful. What we did not realise was that the proprietor would be so lovely, warm and helpful. We had the most amazing time in Taganga, along with being able to sleep in a comfortable bed with a delicious breakfast...

We stayed two nights at Casa MarYon and enjoyed it immensely. Upon arrival, after a long night bus, we were warmly greeted by Piedad, able to check in early and offered breakfast. The room was sizable, comfortable and had AC. The bathroom was well laid out and comfortable too. No hot water here in Taganga, but the heat is such...

Wow the owner, his wife and the staff are really nice and friendly ! Best hotel to stay in Taganga I think because of the service, the rooftop pool, close to the beach, big room with A/C and not that much expensive ! Really feel like home and if I come back I will definitely stay there again ;)

This hotel provided a tranquil environment for some much needed R&R. The hotel was away from the noisy hostels and had a beautiful view of Playa Taganga. Piedad (the owner) provided wonderful restaurant and day trip recommendations to nearby beaches in Parque Tayrona as well as a waterfall excursion in Valencia. Casa MarYon is for anyone who wants an amazing...
