Last minute plan but fortunately found this property on the way. Chef was good and hotel staff was courteous. Overall a good experience. Property is well maintained. Rooms were spacious. View is great too specially in winters. Best to go in winters

Stayed at the fern surya resort kasauli. Very prime location and great access from main highway. Stay was awesome and food was top notch. Chefs Sant Ram Ji and Deepak Ji were very cordial and very helpful took special care of all guests who were present. Food was very delicious and buffet had great variety on different days. Would recommend everyone to visit at least once. Housekeeping staff and restaurant staff was great too.

We had booked a holiday package, including a stay at The Fern. We had booked two rooms with each room for two people that included breakfast for all the days we stayed at the resort. The resort is located in Dharampur, and the only issue is that it is slightly far from mall road, where you can shop at Kasauli. However, the resort in itself is fantastic and self-sufficient. The reception staff greeted us warmly when we checked in and were friendly and professional in ensuring our check-in was done smoothly. In front of the reception, a hall with comfortable sofas can be used to relax if you want to do something outside your own room. Coming to the rooms we had it on the third floor of the hotel wing. The rooms were spacious, with a queen-sized bed, a large HD television, and a small table with a tea/coffee maker and a chair. On one side, there were two additional single-seater sofas. The bathroom was immaculate and spacious. Outside the room, there was a big common area that contained some sofas in case you wanted to sit outside the room. Mineral water and other amenities were already taken care of before we reached the room. The other resort facilities included a full-fledged bar and a restaurant beside it. At night we had a live music cum bonfire night which we thoroughly enjoyed. The bar room also had indoor games that included a pool table. The 1st floor also opened to an open lawn that had a chessboard with giant pieces. The same area also had access to a swimming pool and the banquet hall. Additionally, there was a viewpoint near the entrance just below the parking area. The view was breathtaking, covering the entire lush green mountains with the curvy road running through them. For children, there was also a mini playground created with slides, and all while below the cottage area, there was a nice lawn created where you could take a stroll. Thus, overall the property is vast, the staff is professional, the rooms are clean, and the food is fantastic. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Kasauli.…

We had booked Fern Surya Resort for 2 nights on our anniversary. The location is great, on the highway and offers great view to the mountains. Absolutely loved the hospitality and the stay. The hotel is in close proximity to this Cafe Mitti in Kasauli (20 mins drive)...totally worth it...You would find a lot of good cafes close by... Totally recommend it....!!!!

It was one day short surprise bday trip I was planning for my husband . While browsing on various locations, I came across this resort which I felt quite appealing in my first instinct. However, I had glitch in mind since most of time what we see and experience are quite different. But thankfully that was not the case. The resort was beyond my expectation as it had all the amenities you think of; Approachable, Proper Parking,Spacious Room, Nice Spa service, swimming pool ( though it was not much required in Winters ), Born Fire , Live music , Appetizing Food & not but the least nice Hospitality. Though we went alone, but would definitely plan another Weekend Trip with our friends.

If you are looking for a hill station which is not too far to reach from a railhead/airport, this place is ready to greet you in Himachal. The Fern Surya Resort, Kasauli. In the lap of nature, overlooking the valley and beautiful highway connecting uphill. A soothing cup of tea/coffee overlooking the mountains from your room's balcony/sit out area. Offering you vivid categories of rooms and fitting into your pocket. The best part is the hotel has no lift but still you do not have to walk much, as most of the rooms have parking access. (And if you own a pet, this place is for you). Food is one of the best you can have, the buffet spread during breakfast & other major meals during the day will have enough for your food palette and soothing the taste buds. If you are planning a social/corporate event at this place, you have options of venues to select from indoor and outdoor both. A session of Yoga /a soft trek in the morning, inhouse adventure activities, sports, Indoor swimming pool, if all you can sink yourself into during the day. You can also indulge yourself into a culinary experience with the chef and his team. The staff and management at the property is outstanding, delivery of the services are only a call away, you just have to ask for it. This place is going to be destination in itself in coming year.
