Kasauli is a small hill town full of quaint relics of the British Raj. Situated about 1950 meters above sea level and nestling in the Shivaliks. It is almost midway between the major cities of Chandigarh and Shimla. Directly below Kasauli is the spread of the vast plains of Punjab and Haryana which as darkness falls unroll a gorgeous carpet of twinkling lights. At 3647 meters the snow capped peaks of Choor Chandini powerfully dominates the lower hills and across the undulating ranges, Shimla is also visible.

Resort is on Beautiful Location and near to market. Staff is so polite and humble. I want to give b'day surprise to my Husband and on reception, Gaurav sir gave so much support & help me so well. We are so much glad to see our decorate room 😍😍 Room is so beautifully decorate with balloons, flowers, cake & bouquet. Guard Uncle is also very sweet and guide us so well, when we want to walk during night. He told us that don't go on a walk with your wife. Go in your Car is safe. They all are so caring with their customers. We really enjoy our trip and definitely recommend to others. And food is so delicious and serve so well. I will also post a youtube video soon on a hotel look on my account Preet_arora. Thank u so much for making our trip so beautiful and memorable. Go in for Kasauli Exotica only if you don't find any other place to stay in kasauli. 1. If you book thru any travel portal, they will give you a room without a view and tell you that you didn't pay for a valley view room. 2. Check in time of 2pm and Checkout time of 11am doesn't make sense. They claim that they need 3 hrs to clean the room , but our room had many filthy patches. 3. No leisure activity is available in the resort 4. Reception staff isn't really welcoming and infact sounds a bit rude if you try to reason with him. 5. Breakfast spread is meager, and the quality of food is nothing to write home about. 5. Valley view from the partly open air restaurant is the only saving grace

We, four senior citizens visited Kasauli and stayed at Kasauli Exotica this week. The Hotel is very well located - 2 Km from the Mall area and the lovely old Church established in around 1864 and other places of interest. The staff was friendly, management (Mr. Kuldeep Sharma) extremely helpful and resourceful. Food is good too and service very good. The balconies overlooking the Valley and Terrace Restaurant is a great place (with a jhoola-swing too) to spend time watching the clouds rising from the valley and lights of Shimla on a clear night. The rooms face North East which have pleasant morning sun on a clear day. Loved the stay.

Worst experience in Kasauli! These guys are totally unprofessional, this is my 250 plus contribution in TripAdvisor and never had this kind of experience. The hotel denied the booking after taking the payment and we waited in the reception and restaurant area for 2 hours after reception confirmed that we will be getting rooms. The reason they mentioned after making us wait is male to female ratio is not ok as per them. This was a office trip of a top MNC based in Gurgaon and hotel was aware of that. Strictly avoid this hotel if you are a corporate team.

Cons: We booked 2 premium rooms for one night. The images shown on booking portals are totally fake or may be the condition was similar few years back. But presently the rooms are in very bad condition. The cupboards are broken, switches are dirty, bathroom is very very dirty and broken furniture in bathroom and rooms. Rust is everywhere. The bed was not clean when we arrived, it had hair strains and ZERO sanitization in room or outside. Pros: The views from room is the best, you can watch sunrise from your bed (after sanitization obviously). The staff is also very good. The food is good although breakfast options were limited.

Location is good . There are actually no direct hotels on mall road or neat tourist pt.so this hotel is located in a ggood reach to mall road. Of u use road to go mall u can pay upto 1000 for a trip from this palce and road uses thr same gng down one hill and climbing other hill and takes time. We chose a short cuut it's a little trek one can do easily and reach mall road in 10 min walking plus it was beautiful way. This short cut is right in front of the hotel u can walk anytime to mall and save money and time. View from the hotel isvery nice and mesmerizing. U can come wnd see valley anytime enjoy brkfast and meals thr. This hotel has Mini CCD cofee that is very imp as tea and cofee tastee diff in hills mayy b due to milk .CCd coffee cmes to rescue. Food is good in taste and thy can customise as per ur level of spice and taste. . mostly all mentioned items are avbl in the menu. Staff is good and helpful. Rooms r of nice area and we'll ventilated. Washroom r fine also. One can good walk in the hotel itself spacious walking area. Now the not good parts about it They wil not let u extend checkout at any reason. I requested to extend till 1230 bt wasn't allowed , or pay half the rent. They wil keep caling u . To chek out. We tuk brkfast and dinner plan 3 days most of the things r repeated. Like if u eat dal makhani in lunch u iwl hv in dinner also . Very few choices they make. Everyday u wil get parantha and aloo or chole. That all. Menu on buffet needs definite planning. Desserts are same eveyday. I recently stayed at Kasauli Exotica. My experience is as follows:- 1) A decent hotel, good food, an amazing scenery from balcony. Rooms are spacious (atleast the one we stayed in). But as I roamed around, I saw all the hotels are constructed on the hillside and facing the valley so as to give good scenic view. 2) We reserved our room in advance which was confirmed. On reaching, were told room not available forcing us to take a higher tariff room. Thereafter, the manager insisted on aadhar card and covid certificate in hard copy. Hence, opened the suitcase in reception and completed the formality. Thankfully, we were prepared. We had driven 300 km and must be tired had no impact to the hotel manager. The aspect which surprised us was that the Hotel manager declined to reveal his name and we didn’t pursue also. 3) We noticed that the WIFI is very poor. As both Airtel and Reliance mobile net coverage was also suboptimal, accessing the net was difficult. The Hotel manager said WIFI is good and gave us repeatedly wrong password and username. Sometimes, it is Kasauliexotica or hotelexotica or exotica@456 or exotica@123. 4) We asked the hotel manager how to go to the Mall road. He stated 1.5 km by road and 700 m by walk. He suggested we avoid taking our car as parking was not possible. He also demanded Rs. 500 for a drop which we thought was exorbitant for 1.5 Km. He adviced the walk as it was nearby. He somehow forgot to mention that the 700 m walk entailed 50-60 degree climb through jungle with not many people to guide you through the trail route. Hence, not only we were panting badly after getting lost on few occasions. A drizzle made thing worse. Mall road is nice place to walk around but don’t attempt the trail walk unless you are super fit and like hiking. The mall road entrance has a muliti-storeyed car park and hence parking was not an issue. 5) As we returned from our jungle –mountain hiking /mall road trip, we ordered sandwich and pasta. We had liked the lunch of rice, kadai chicken and mixed veg. Hence thought of having dinner at hotel itself. After, one hour and numerous calls the sandwich and pasta arrived as their grill machine was defective. The chicken in both the items was half cooked and we threw away the items. 6) The hotel service starts only in the morning 0800 or later. So if you want a cup of tea in the morning, forget it. The hotel also doesn’t have extra beds but provides extra mattress at additional cost.…

Just checked out and writing this review. Stayed here for 2 nights in premium Valley view. Weather was great & it's the only reason I am calling this Stay ' pleasant'. I personally would never choose to come back and stay in this resort due to following reasons- 1. Rooms are extremely old condition. Beds ,doors , windows all are in pathetic shape. 2. Food from this place has no taste. They have a mandate to order before 10pm for which they will start calling/pushing you from 8pm onwards. 3. Service is worst of all. We had to call 7 times to get our room cleaned , even left the keys with them when we went out but came back to uncleaned room. 4. You would need to call room service atleast 4-5 times to get smallest of things eg - glass, plate etc. Or even while checking out to pick up your luggage. 5. Don't rely on their wifi . Out of 2 nights, didn't work for 48 hours. People choose resorts in the hills to have peaceful time, however you won't be able to find that here. We couldn't see property manager even once during our 2 nights / 3 days stay. Book at your own risk.…

Nice location almost on the top of kasauli. Rooms are good. The view of the valley from balcony is awesome. Food is good. Staff very cooperative and helpful. There is a small outdoor play area for kids. Parking space is limited. Very near to Mai market around 1.6 kms.

Stunning view from balcony, lovely location. Friendly staff and their courteous service impressed us and we would love to visit again and recommend friends and relatives. Due to low occupancy we missed our buffet breakfast as they served us in room. Next time I would love to see their buffet.
