Located on what must be the most attractive stretch of beach on the island of Koh Jum, the Koh Jum Lodge lives up to everybody's expectations of a paradise-like, tranquil and hassle-free stay at an unspoilt tropical island. After a three week long stay, I couldn't find anything to complain about, and another Swedish couple that were also guests at...

We spent 4 nights at Koh Jum Lodge with our two little children and simply had a wonderful relaxed time. the bungalows are perfect and very spacious even with the littles ones. Lovely decorations and style throughout. We lovely the shady area between the bungalows and the beach with stunning views, a nice breeze and and the lovely shade of...

If you want a rustic (though not TOO rustic) hut on a deserted Thai island – where you can forget about the world and all your worries - then Koh Jum Lodge is the place you are looking for. Koh Jum is a mid-sized island with almost no tourism. There is no-one here, though I guess that will change… They...

Upon arrival we were greeted by the Jean Michel and Jane and immidiatly felt welcome! The cottages are absolutly gorgeous - spacious, clean and charming. The food in the restaurant is local and fresh. The setting couldn't be more relaxing on that beautiful beach. There are plenty of places under the coconut palm trees to take your afternoon nap or...

I had been arranging our holiday to Thailand for over year and our arrival in Koh Jum made it all worth while. Having arrived by longtail boat we were greeted by the owner Jean Michel and shown to our stunning beach front bungalow and from that point we knew we were in paradise. We travelled with our two children and...

Koh Jum Lodge was the second destination during our three week Thai holiday. I’d not heard of Koh Jum before we started planning this holiday in October 2008. It was suggested to me on a Trip Advisor forum after I’d put out my feelers for places to stay. On finding a website dedicated to the island (kojumonline.com), it was pretty...

I really liked this place I thought it had got a lot of things right. The lodges were well designed, spacious and comfortable ( i loved lazing in the outdoor hammock), You feel very much in the outdoors with windows open at night (took a bit of getting used to with no aircon/ noisy crickets / lots of bugs!) The...

This is the most beatiful and relaxing place I have ever been to. The standards and quality are second to none with attention to detail never being overlooked. We went there after 5 weeks apart (for work reasons) and needed to be peaceful and pampered without feeling part of a package. From the gorgeous bed and linen to the hammocks...

Koh Jum Lodge is fantastic. The bungalows, the food, the staff and the beach are all wonderful. We had a great week here on our Honeymoon and would definitely recommend it for couples and anyone looking for a relaxed getaway.

Just to add to the reviews - this place is very well cared for by Jean Michel and Jane. It is clean and comfortable and the rooms are very spacious with all the facilities you could want. We stayed here for 5 nights, the weather was affected by the Burma tragidy so there were electrical storms and very choppy seas....

“As far as wifi goes, it is available in some of the bungalows, but the best way to get a good connection is to visit the bar/reception area. There is in fact an IT-corner right on the beach.”
