A large property close to Hubli, Airport. If you visit in night approach road is quit dark and calm. Basic rooms and as expected amenities for property of such size - Swimming pool, batminton court, snooker table. Breakfast was very average and need improvement in terms of quality and services. Since this was rainy season lot of flies in dinning area. Stayed there for a night on way to Mumbai from Coorg.

To, The Managing Director Cotton County Resort Hubli Hello, Sub : (1) Hopeless treatment of guests bordering on humiliation at your resort (2) A beautiful property horribly mismanaged (3) No accountability / Professionalism to give the money's worth to your guests In a hospitality industry all that matters is the service you give to your guests in lieu of the money paid in advance. If your management is sensitive to the complaints filed by a guest, then they will refund the money to their guests immediately. Remember we came to your resort to relax and unwind with some good reception and food and not to quarrel with your staff for the horrible service they gave. Your new F&B Manager and Operations Manager did apologize. Please tell me Mr. Managing Director, does apology set right the horrible service for which I have paid ? Why harass the customer and take money to give horrible service ? I demand a full refund of the money paid by me. The episodes and draw backs in your resort: a. Firstly you do not have a hotel board in the direction of the road. I had to travel 3 kms further down and came back to see a board which was not even visible in the dark. The approach road does not show any sign board to the guest. b. After entering your compound your security asks me to park the car in an area which was pitch dark. Your parking is not well lit. I refused as I did not see the road and there was wet mud. How can I park the car in darkness ? Your security shouted if others have parked their cars then what is your problem. Indecent and arrogant behavior. c. Your receptionist says he does not know how the online booking works and asked whether I have booked 1 room or 2 ? d.I was forced to make my 90 years old father walk from the parking till his room which was far away in darkness. No one helped. Nor was I told to take the car near the room. e. No drinking water glasses were provided in room 101. Room 102 had the glasses. f. My father was forced to walk to the restaurant from the swimming pool side in darkness. He expressed inability to climb the stairs. Fortunately your new F&B Manager intervened and we got our food. I thought with this intervention the issues have been resolved. I was mistaken. g. I was told hot water will be available from 6 am. I took bath in cold water and hot water was made available at 6.45 am. h. Coffee was ordered in the room. However your boys served tea. I refused to pay for the tea. i. It was committed to me that dosas would be served for breakfast.However I had to quarrel with the boys to get dosas delaying my departure. The dosas were horrible and half cooked. My father refused to eat. j. The so called pineapple juice was bitter and none of us took it. Later on the boys said it was cucumber juice and hence bitter. k. I am surprised you do not know how to make coffee that too in Karnataka. It is a shame. See the attached photos and decide for yourself if it looks like coffee, leave alone taste it. First have the infrastructure in place and then charge the guests. Do not cheat your guests and harass 90 year old senior citizens. If your management has any sense of shame and regret then refund the money paid by me for horrible service. Sincerely…
Awesome place to be.. All the greenary, beautiful sights,the swimming pool,the gymnasium,the restaurant, the badminton court all are extremely well maintained and well planned. The rooms are also very well maintained.
Good points: Good ambience, location,peaceful atmosphere. Negative points: No hot water even executive rooms, use of dental kits and shaving kits charged unscientific way!!! Poor food for the prices charged
