A wonderful place in the heart of the norfolk countryside but close to all the beautiful beaches. We chose the Hideaway because dogs are welcome there and what an amazing time out little spaniel had. we were there celebrating a birthday with a few friends, the place couldn't have been more perfect. It was late October but we were warm...

My wHole experience was Just fantastic! The communications before we went made sure we knew what to expect and what to bring. The actual lodge was so well equipped and spotlessly clean. Tash was very cheery and helpful explaining how to use the fires etc. Loved the fact there was a kids play area right outside. We went to Holkam...

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our week away to the Hideaway this month; just talking about it now, as we are sat on the sofa, inspired me to write a review for you all, as some places really deserve a kind word or two of praise for how wonderful they are. The Hideaway was more or less...

After realising we were at the Hideaway and not Thornham Bay (we really should have read our instructions before we set off!) we finally found our tent in the middle of nowhere down a long, winding farm track. Tash was there to meet us and gave us instructions on how to light our woodburning stove and where everything was. I...

Just had a great weekend at The Hideaway even two days of rain couldnt spoil it. The lodges are great, well equipped and spacious yet cosy. The hot shower is fantastic as is not having to trek to a loo in the middle of the night! The kids loved the bed in a cupboard as well as fetching the eggs...

Just spent a week at the Hideway , we had the Poachers lodge , which comfortably slept nine of us. Tash was fantastic and very helpful . The kids enjoyed collecting eggs everyday and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings . I would highly recommend the Rose and Crown in Snettisham , lovely play area, great food and they were more...

We had a great week, plenty of space, great amenities and comfortable beds, surrounded by stunning countryside. Tash was great and punctual every morning, dropping off our ice packs. We were a family of four and my parents who are in their seventies also joined us for a few days and really enjoyed the experience, especially toasting the marshmallows over...

An excellent experience in a serene spot. We travelled as a family including 70 year old granny and 4 year old daughter. Everyone, including the dog, had a wonderful time. The lodges are comfortable, easy to live in, and close to nature. There were lots of other families and my daughter had the time of her life running wild in...

It was simply heaven and I can't wait to get back there! So peaceful and beautiful - cannot recommend enough. Perfect for couples and families. The summary of my week away to my friends read: 'We sat by the fire, toasted marshmallows, canoed down gorgeous rivers, cycled through parks full of deer, discovered a private island on the most perfect...

We are 60 somethings who live life to the full and absolutely loved our wild adventure at The Hideaway. It was superbly organised with everything you could possibly need to make life fun. The info and tips we received a couple of weeks before our trip were particularly useful. We took them on board, and really did get the best...

“In the colder seasons take extra blankets for the beds, although they do provide hot water bottles. Also step out and look up, the stars are beautiful, something you dont get to see too often.”

“Read the small print carefully. You'll be charged for every extra, which over a weekend could annoy you. An all in price would be better. Don't buy their food - call in a deli on the way. There food is good but massively overpriced. Don't go during harvest if you're a sensitive sleeper; the grain dryers go all night.”
