We stayed at The Old Stables Cottage fro 2 weeks. Lovely owners who made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. A very well equipped cottage and it was 'home from home'. Very cosy too with such a comfortable bed! Great value too and close to amenities as well as tourist attractions. Would highly recommend this...

Stayed two nights (Fri & Sat) end October 2016 with my mum for a local family wedding & this place is a little gem. Everything was lovely. Room was large, bright & airy with small but perfectly functional en-suite/shower room. Beds (twin-room) were exceptionally comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities with great biscuits & bottled water & small fridge too. Big TV....

There was no one in when I arrived so I sat on the front step enjoying the afternoon sunshine, having walked down from...

Having to deal with a bit of an unexpected family issue, I was looking to make a last minute booking just for one night and was lucky enough to secure two rooms at Hollycroft. Both rooms were just lovely, just the job after a long journey. The beds were very comfortable, there was a kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc,...

Stayed for 4 nights - Monday to Friday. Excellent room - smashing breakfast (full English or porridge, both excellent - as was the fresh fruit)- ideal location for cricket ground, bus services etc. We'll certainly be back - not least for the fluffy towels!

Booked my elderly father in for 2 nights while he visited us as we don't have the room. Room was very spacious with en-suite. Plenty of towels and refreshments. He really enjoyed his breakfasts! Hope to use again in future.
