Stayed here for 2 nights with work and had to speak to the staff on duty about a few issues. Donna and Brad on the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful, polite or professional. They both are a credit to the hotel and a pleasure to speak to. Will definitely stay here again based on the room and staff. 10/10
Visited with a family of 6 in 2 rooms. Both rooms were very clean and well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice a bit limited due to covid but still a decent start to the day. Free car parking and close to the safari park so all in all for the price a enjoyable experience and will recommend and stay again.
The stay was ok but the property was slightly worn out - we paid about £66 for the night that included breakfast for 2 plus a child and parking so cant complaint, that being said, the proximity to central Liverpool was not close and it was a 30 minute drive to be in central Liverpool.
Stayed here recently for two nights as a family of 5 as a base to visit family and the nearby zoo. All in all a great stay, room clean and fresh and the bed very comfortable. A warm welcome Breakfast was fine, basic but did the job. Very poor options for people with allergies though, no gluten free or vegan options really but it was cheap and cheerful so no issues in bringing my own :-) For the price you can’t go wrong really!
Arrived and received a warming welcome. We were separated into 2 separate rooms with being 5 of us on the first floor. Room was clean and oh my god, the beds so comfy!! We freshened up and went out for some food. The corridor stank of smoke. They offered to spray some air freshener, but to me this wasn’t the point. They should be finding who was smoking and done something about it. Me and my children shouldn’t have to breathe that crap in! We had 3 children with us in two separate rooms, the sofa bed in my room was made up but they hadn’t made the one in the hubby’s room and we had to ask for bedding and make it ourselves. On our return from food the hotel was swarming with Police. Endless Police cars and a riot van blocking the car park, so ended up with three scared children... great. We turned up late for breakfast as we hadn’t realised it closed so early. The staff were very accommodating and didn’t let us go without any food. Overall we stayed here to be close to the Safari Zoo and it did the job. Few issues along the way that were rectified. And the comfy bed made up for it! …
