We have eaten and drank at the Bell many many time as it's so well situated in the village. However our recent eating experience was dreadful for one reason - namely a young member of staff called Rianna served my wife and son then ran down to the bar to play with her friends leaving me without my meal. I...

My husband and I and a couple of friends decided to meet here to make the most of a the sunny weather and have lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was ample parking. Because of the weather we were wondering wether we would get a table outside. Out the front was rammed, but out the back was lovely and quiet,...

Food is brilliant. Service and staff are friendly and warm allowing us to enjoy a nice evening out. Definitely returning. I choose a Hunters Chicken. Which I could not fault. My brother ate the Mega burger to which he was astonished by the quality. It was brilliant.

What a lovely pub, friendly helpful staff, lovely and not overly priced food and a Guinness to die for. Clean toilets and clean tables. Shame dogs are not allowed in the bar, but with outside seating a real gem. We still are yet to try a theme food evening so another visit is required. Keep up the good work.

Dogs aren't allowed here, which was a bit disappointing, but in the summer there's loads of outside seating. So we left our dog tired animals in the car and went inside, to be be greeted by the nicest staff. We chose a table by the window overlooking the green and settled in to enjoy a fabulous meal. The lunchtime menu...

We stayed here for a wedding in the village, and were very surprised at just how much space we had in the rooms! Great little living area with sofas and a tv, kitchenette with kettle, fridge and toaster, plus bread, crumpets, butter, jam, yoghurts, juice, water, milk and cereals, a wonderfully powerful shower and comfortable bedroom. It was much better...

I arrived late in the evening 10.30pm for my two night stay and I must say the registration was a little disorganised, no registration forms and some confusion, but the staff were friendly & helpful. To my surprise the room was excellent and good value for money (£55.00 per night for a double room) including breakfast. The room was clean,...

Staff are slow and a little rude in the bar. There is a locals bar with special menu and when I asked what makes a local I was told with a smirk someone that comes everyday! The atmosphere made us feel not wanted. It's a Shame as the location and the play area for the children is really good. The...

Ate here on a Friday night and whilst the restaurant was busy, the food was excellent, the staff were helpful, courteous and very efficient. I had the spinach and mushroom lasagne which was divine and my partner had the scampi. Both meals were well cooked and plenty, so much so we didn't have room for a pudding. Friday's is fish...

Lovely location. Its a pub with accom & the rooms are not fantastic. Nice playground for kids & a few animals in the barn. Staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good. OK for a short break (1 x day).
