Emailed Day before as staying in the Area. Chef did us a three course meal all vegan! Was lovely would recommend! Mushrooms in a ragu sauce, Chickpea curry, goulash and a fruit compote with rice pudding and a creme angkaise topping! Yum!

A local pub which provided good honest refreshments. Landlord extremely solicitous and eager to help and encourage a return visit. Sadly we returned a couple of days later on Sunday lunchtime and didn't stay as they only offered roast dinners which we didn't want.

We have now been twice to this pub on a Sunday and it is a really lovely place to relax with a pint of cider or to have a sunday roast. Perfect location en route to the bluebells and a really warm welcome on arrival....More
