I have a lot to say about this, but not enough room. We had trouble with our booking, money was supposed to come from my credit card but did not. Owner wanted cash on arrival, and I didn't have it, because I thought it had been paid. Had to PayPal, and I copped the fees, although my contract stated that...

We travelled over for the Amiens market, and booked 3 night stay at Grange de la Herde. Its about 2-3 miles outside Amiens. Just 10mins drive into the city. The accommo0datiion is in a converted barn, which fronts out onto the main road, which is not busy. The building is superb! The owners, Richard and Katherine, are genuinely lovely, and...

We spent three nights here recently and thought the accommodation was excellent. Our room was good, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good and included fresh fruits well as breads, yoghurt, fresh juice, coffee etc. WiFi worked well in the common area and my Samsung worked in our room although our iPad would not. The owners were friendly and helpful....

This is a ideal relaxed, friendly getaway in an area adjacent to the kind local couple, who own the nearby main house. Their hospitality was amazing, having the use of their bikes to explore Amiens nearby (5 minute cycle) through to their amazing breakfast and their helpfulness in giving maps and information about the local battle fields. Genuine people that...

We stayed for two nights in March 2014. Richard and Catherine were very welcoming. Our room was large and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was exceptional and was served downstairs and consisted of fresh fruit, home made yoghurt, breads and croissants. We had to park our car outside on the street which was okay but one night we came back after dinner...

We arrived quite late and very weary, after negotiating Rouen in the pouring rain. It was a real pleasure when the barn door was opened and a lovely haven appeared. The room was very clean, light and airey and very comfortable. The owners could not have been more helpful, and it was a little gem.Breakfast was very enjoyable and the...

My husband, myself & our two friends have just visited this wonderful B&B. It is set in the charming and clean town of Camon - uncongested on a main street with plenty of easy parking. Entering via a barn door into a beautiful flower & shrub laden courtyard. Catherine welcomed us warmly and explained all that we needed to know...

Marvelously renovated, very private courtyard rooms, in delightful suburb of Amiens. Plenty of parking. Easy street access through secure courtyard door. Breakfast is superb, and there are interesting restaurants in Amiens and along the river for other meals. Owners are enthusiastically helpful about local sights and war memorials. This is a great base if doing several visits to memorial sites,...

Lovely comfortable and well equipped gite. Impeccably clean with lovely original features and typical French feel. Our hosts were very helpful and not all intrusive. The centre of Amiens is a 3 km scenic walk along the river taking you past the unique and very beautiful "hortillenages" worth the visit in themselves.

The accommodation was average, one too many cobwebs and spiders for our liking. Accommodation a little too close to owners property, no privacy. Bookings are made by sending a cheque for a reasonable sum of money as a deposit which is returnable on leaving. Holiday paid for in full on arrival, cash only. As we were leaving early on Saturday...
