iMy wife's cousin,,her husband and myself recently stayed the night here. The driveway has generous parking space and our rooms were very spacious,,spotlessly clean (as is the entire house} and well stocked with regard to tea/coffee etc. The beds were extremely comfortable and after a good night's sleep we had a delicious full Irish breakfast the next morning. Our host...

We spent two nights in Clonmany so that my husband could play the Ballyliffin golf course. Glen House was the most luxurious B&B in which we had the pleasure of staying during our month in Ireland. An absolutely beautiful manor house with a very spacious bedroom, large comfortable bed, and—finally!—a decent-sized bathroom. The room itself was beautifully decorated. A very...

We recently had a small family function that I wished to hold in my own home, not far from Clonmany. On looking around for an outside catering company to come into our home, prepare and set up a buffet style meal for approx 50 guests, I approached Dorothy from The Glen House and asked her if she could accommodate. Acknowledging...

We presumed that the tea room was open and called in after a visit to the waterfall only to find that it was not open for business. That didn't stop us being provided with tea, coffee and cake, now that's what I call fabulous service! The fact that everyone was busy putting up Halloween decorations didn't detract from the hospitality...

Six of our family stayed for three nights as we were attending a family wedding in nearby Ballyliffin. Glen House is impressive when you first see it with it's little craft shop and tearoom and ample parking. The sound of the little stream coming down from the waterfall is soothing too (happy sigh...!) Dorothy welcomed us and showed us to...

The main purpose of our visit was to play golf at Ballyliffin links and the Glen House was ideal for this. It is only 10 minutes drive from the golf course and has a picturesque hillside location beside the scenic walk to Glenevin Waterfall. Rooms are clean and well-appointed and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. We were particularly...

Beautiful place to hold an evenings event for a murder mystery. Lovely welcome from all of the ladies who work in the Glen House. Many a lady was suspect to being the murderer however the culprit got away with her devious cunning and deceiving the other guests. Well done to the ladies who received certificates for best performance & the...

Arrived quite late after a long day and had a lovely welcome. The room was lovely with plenty of space and a nice en suite with shower. A short walk to the waterfall where sadly the midgies got the better of us not sure if they were only around due to the time of evening and the drizzle. Very nice...
