Met with a smile on arrival, shown around and left to settle in. The owners are friendly, without being over-bearing, The cottage itself (Saddlers) was gorgeous! Obviously very old, but just obviously very well looked after, and spotlessly clean. Initernet connection wasn't great (we were in the room furthest from the main building), but that didn't really bother us,

Would highly recommend Muddlebridge cottages, we stayed in Wheelwrights cottage, it had everything you needed, we stayed with our two adult children for a week. As has been said before it is ideally located in walking/cycling distance of the Tarka trail and very near other amenities, an award winning fish and chip shop. Instow is a couple of miles down...

We gave our 3 grandsons a list of holiday destinations and all 3 chose Muddlebridge. It turned out to be a perfect choice. Our cottage, Millers, was charming and very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed by Graham and Ruth who were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Oh and they left us a lovely...

Stayed for 5 nights at Miller's Cottage, my husband, myself and our 1 yr old son. It is a great location for cycling and for visiting beaches, Broomhill Sculpture Garden and many other attractions. Ruth and Graham were incredibly friendly and helpful, loved the jam and biscuits they left for us. The pool and sauna were wonderful and our son...

Stayed for 4 nights recently in Miller's Cottage whilst visiting family in the area. Cottage was extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The pool room was an added bonus and as there were no young families around, the grown ups used it instead. Would be great for families with teens as there is also a swimming pool, table tennis and...

This is the second time that we have stayed at Muddlebridge House for a week of cycling in the area at the beginning of September. Eleven of us shared the two largest cottages, and they are comfortable and spacious with good kitchens. Muddlebridge is a perfect base for cycling, being less than a mile from the Tarka Trail (a disused...

This was our second visit to Muddlebridge. We love the location as it is right on the Tarka trail ideal for family cycling. The cottages are clean and comfortable. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The on site facilities are great for young and older children. The garden is big with trampolines, climbing frame, volleyball and mini football pitch....

I stayed in one of the Muddlebridge Cottages recently with my 2 sons, their partners and my 3 year old granddaughter. We had a great stay. My granddaughter particularly loved the gardens with the animals and also exploring all the different things in the garden. We thought the area was beautiful and were able to use bikes to explore the...

My wife and I are from Sydney, Australia and have stayed at Muddlebridge House many times over the last 20 years during our visits to the UK. We have stayed in different cottages which are all fully equipped for self catering, there is heating for cooler days and WiFi, we have always been very comfortable in any of them. Muddlebridge...
