Dakak means biggest forest where you can find nature at its best...beach and mountains. The adventures, resto, resorts are all in hand. Service and staff are nice. Accommodation is extra special in ambiance.Surely we will comeback in here.

The only reason why we stayed in Dakak was because it gives us complimentary entry passes to Gloria's Fantasyland. This place is very exclusive. It would be best if you arrange a pickup/transfer to and from the hotel as this resort cant be reached by public transport. We drove to the place so it makes it a lot easier. This...

We went there after NCYM event in Dipolog City. Before we enter, we paid the entrance ticket worth 1000 php. This is a consumable ticket where we can used to buy foods, spa experience, rides etc. The white sand makes you relax plus the beautiful blue sea. There are also swimming pools for those who want to slide . The...

The last time we were here was around 8 years ago. This was our at least 6th time here. A lot has changed. The cottages are old. The tv sets are outdated and had only ne channel when we were there. A/c units are still manually controlled. They have built new buildings but most of these are for groups. It...

Poor customer service. The place is good, it has good amenities and great food but the customer service is worst mas ok pa makipag usap sa 9 year old na bata mas maiintindihan ka kaysa sa kanila. Wala din kwentang makipag usap sa manager. And ung hindi katanggap tanggap ung room sobrang daming mosquito and ang pinaka worst walang tubig....

My brother treat us to Dakak Island, we stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The food is superb and worth it, variety of foods on buffet, with cultural dance playing while you eat, complete amenities and different activities. We also avail the Dapitan Tour, visit old churches and Rizal house. Plus delicious tablea and spanish sardines.

Love the extreme adventures being offered. Love the place. Food is superb. The zipline is a must-try. Too pricey though. For a 3-days, 2-nights stay, you have to bring at least 15k if you want to experience maximum fun. Love the experience. Will definitely go back.

Long, white sand beach is impressive. Wide selection of aquasports. The whole family enjoyed riding jetski. There is enough time to enjoy jetski so we recommend each group of 2 in the family can take alternate turns. Book in advance during peak season to ensure slot. We are thankful to our instructor who let us see the view of the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dakak Park and Beach Resort is the closest place to paradise one could ever experience, with its beauty and serenity. Dakak started operating on 1988, was conveniently positioned in the southern part of the Philippines and surrounded by mountains in its west. Situated at Taguilon, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, Dakak tactfully eludes the typhoon belt, making it an ideal all-season destination for travelers. Dakak is the first five-star resort in Mindanao with "AAA" accreditation from the Department of Tourism, located along a private 750 meter white sand beach. From the original two (2) cottages, it has expanded into 64 cottages with 160 fully-furnished; 64 Bungalows; 98 Deluxe rooms; 2 Executive rooms; 16 Prime Deluxe rooms; 14 Beachfront rooms in native duplex type bungalows with capiz shell window panes; and three (3) Family Pavilions with 30 family rooms and one (1) Presidential Suite. Through the years, Dakak received various recognition locally and internationally among which are the Kalakbay Award for Resort on 1989 from the Philippine Department of Tourism; 16th International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry on 1991 from the Trade Leaders Club and Editorial Office Madrid, Spain; a certificate of excellence by the Prestigious Resorts of the World on 1992; and has participated in the Dream Incentive Contest theme for the Philippines that has won the "Best Showcase 1997" in the Incentive Travel and Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) last December 1997. Dakak Park and Beach Resort continuously strive to carry out its mission - "an abundance of recreational activities and entertainment, warm Filipino hospitality, and environment friendly ambiance." ... more   less
