We didn't stay here but came for two excellent meals on the lovely small terrace with great views. There offer some very nice local foods here. We had sticky rice with bacon, pumpkin and taro steamed in a bamboo stalk and fresh bamboo shoots with local made bacon and Chinese sausage. In the evening we came back for more sticky...

Pros - comfortable and clean room, comfy mattress, good quality towels, good hot shower, LCD TV, breakfast was OK, and of course...the lovely balcony with an amazing view Cons - bathroom was slightly cramped, a/cond remote was in Chinese, nil kettle in room (however hot water provided in a flask upon request)

This hotel is located near the centre of a lovely village and thus, there is a lot of noise and activity. The hotel is clean and comfortable, even quaint, and the restaurant food is good. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a little balcony that overlooked the adjacent laundry area and contained 3 double beds but it...

The good points are that this hotel is comfortable and clean, the service good, the welcome friendly, the food good and the views of the rice terraces superb. However, the village is developing so rapidly that it is very difficult to find anything that isn't designed purely for the tourist and the noise from the development can be annoying. In...

The Ping'an Guesthouse has been just newly renovated (again). A 30-minute uphill hike from the parking station through the Village and we were rewarded with a room with breathtaking mountain and rice terrace views! The guesthouse was clean and traditionally decorated tastefully. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and authentic. Exploring the local paths will lead to sprawling rice terraces...

It's a nice countryside hotel. You have to climb or to let you carry to the hotel. The service was good. But the view from our room was the icing on the pudding. All you need in a room is present. AC and wifi available! It's also not far from te top. If you reached you're hotel the suffering is...

For such a remote village this hotel is actually very nice. It's clean and decorated nicely. Our guide says it has been refurbished several times. The view from the balcony was fabulous. Very relaxing. You can have dinner and drinks on the first floor and it's still very high above the village with great views. This is the first place...

After a fantastic walk across from Dazhai we found Ping An on the village outskirts. A charming and authentic hotel having been subject to some refurbishment. Our room was clean, a good size with good size twin beds and a view over the rice fields and mountains that was breathtaking. Our food was very good. We had a banquet. There...

I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms are nice and cosy and got A/C wich was pretty convenient in the evening when it got cold (we visited Pingan in November). The beds and showers were great and it was possible to boil water in the rooms. The rooms are not that well isolated and it gets really noise in...

The Ping' An Hotel (also known in some web sites as Longying Hotel) is located facing the scenic wonder of the Longji Terraced Rice fields and offers accommodation ranging from 'budget' through to a better class. Sad to report that our tour company booked us into the more modest section – from which this review is based. There appears to...
