You will not find a better venue for a wedding in Italy. From start to finish the staff were amazing. Rachele, Laura, Stefano, Aimone and all who work here been attentive, kind and extremely helpful. Nothing was ever a problem and there was no task too much ( including finding a translator at extremely short notice)! We had 60 of... More

My husband and I selected this little hide-away for a romantic weekend end of September. We stay for 3 nights and enjoyed every single moment ... we got a room in the 'Old Stables' (#1601 - large room, very well equipped) incl. breakfast what was excellent and very complete for Italian standards. First evening we went to the fine dining... More

Stayed in September for a family wedding and both the castle and hotel were excellent. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and made the stay very pleasant. My room was excellent and felt luxurious, as well as having a view of the lake in the distance. I can't wait to return!

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for my engagement weekend and it was the perfect choice. First and foremost I would like to highlight the quality of the employees of the hotel. Everybody has been absolutely fabulous. You feel a real desire to ensure that the guest are well looked after. They are helpful, thoughtful, efficient and very very... More

Wow Stuff " thumbs up" for the ladies. Great support on Check-in and Check-out. Value for money is very Good (I have a company Rate). We stayed here for a weekend (3 nights in August 2016) for a wedding. Great stay. Amazing place, service and food. The rooms in the castle are very small (expect for the suite which is great!) and the bathroom felt cramped up; therefore I would suggest to book the ex-stables or the palazzo rooms instead - they re just a... First time we stayed at Castello was two years ago. We really enjoyed it and decided to spend a night on the way from Switzerland to Milan again. It has beautiful grounds, amazing restaurant, attentive service. It's very close to Lakes Maggiore and Orta. It's perfect!

I stayed here a few nights this August, it is a lovely facility close to Arona and Lake Maggiore. We stayed at the Palazzo, not the newly remodeled stables or the Castle. The rooms in the main facility are large with nicely appointed ammenities although it is pretty dated with tattered and stained carpets. Because the grounds are so stunning... More

Beautiful hotel and gardens. Our room was huge, very clean with a great bathroom. Staff is extremely friendly and helpline. Food in restaurant is great but service could be improved! The wine bar is a lovely spot with great cocktails... Perfect for a sundowner.

“My advice to you is: Hire a car. The hotel is beautiful and the location idyllic but it gets very costly very quickly if you have no wheels. Don't bother walking into the closest village for food as there's nothing to see and one below average restaurant. Visit the three Borromeo Islands in Lake Maggiore. Isola Bella is especially breathtaking. An unforgettable experience. Milan is also around 1 hour away on train. Worth doing.”
