We stayed here in January 2014 en route from Delhi to Jaisalmer. The restored front facade is impressive but onve inside the rooms on the bottom storey were disappointing. Cold and dark with really basic bathrooms and no hot water to speak of. The rooms on the added second storey may be a better option. The wifi was down the...

We stayed one night here on our way to Bikaner from Delhi. It was a good half way point and the haveli was beautiful. We lowered the rating because the bed wasn't very comfortable and the room was very cold and no heat available. Best porridge ever at breakfast. Service was great.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel and thought it was excellent value for money (£25 including breakfast). It is extremely picturesque with internal courtyards, highly decorated walls, and nice sit out terraces. The rooms are all different and it is a good idea to ask to see several and make your choice as they are quite varying....

Stayed in the ENORMOUS Maharajah's Room, a must do. Almost had to climb into bed. Extremely comfortable. Staff attentive and friendly. Hot water service poor. Restaurant good, although not spectacular. Did push the chicken at us and was probably a better option than the mutton. An enjoyable stay with good tour of the haveli.

Our car broke down on the way to Mandawa, so we got stuck at this hotel for a few days (whilst a replacement was sent from Delhi). The staff were great, took us on a tour of the town and the other Havelis and spoke to our driver at the garage when the language barrier proved to much too breach....

Rooms were spotless. So was the bathroom. Makes a change. Hotel is very colourfull. Beds were nice and soft. We stayed in room 210 on the firsts floor. The town itself is like a wee market town. No need to pay a tour guide to take you around it. Save your money. Food in the restraunt was a bit of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is Hotel Heritage, Mandawa which is in Rajasthan. It is roughly 170 kms away from the Pink City of Jaipur. The hotel is constructed in an area of around 3000 sq. yards. The building has two floors, ground and first. It has large rooms, which have been divided in categories such as Suites, Deluxe, and Standard Rooms. Each room has an attached modern bath. The decorum of these rooms has been created in Rajasthani culture and is seeped in history. Hotel walls boast of miniature paintings, which at places depict amorous postures and at others depict chapters of Indian history. Whereas on the one hand the hotel depicts the ancient culture, on the other hand it provides all the modern amenities a foreign tourist is so used to. The hotel has a restaurant where besides authentic Rajasthani cuisine you can also enjoy continental fares, which will let you keep in touch with your roots. You can enjoy a candlelight dinner as well. There is also a well stocked bar for the ones fond of Bacchus. The greatest plus is that all our guests are welcomed with garlands in the traditional Rajasthani style. You can enjoy an evening of Rajasthani folk dance, music and puppets as well. Special shows are organized on the request of the guests. Books are available here for the reading pleasures of the guests. ... more   less
