We stayed in this beautifully maintained haveli for 2 nights whilst on tour with Intrepid. We were blown away by the beautiful rooms in this very old hotel located right in the heart of town. The rooftop restaurant was great and the entertainment (local musicians and dancers) put on at dinner time was enjoyed by all. This was a great...

This hotel was a blessing after the Grand Haveli in the neighbouring town. The owner was on site and the staff attentive. One was too attentive, which became very annoying. The room was fine and as it was cold the staff ensured we had extra blankets and a fire in the courtyard, which made the experience very welcoming. Our hot...

The most authentic stay for us in a haveli and a highlight of our Rajasthan tour. A great place to relax, hangout and take a break from our fast paced lifestyles - no TV, no distraction. The decor is fantastic with great attention to detail and accessories. The library is unique and multi-lingual. Breakfast spread and dinner on rooftop were...

This is a jewel in a dump of a town. The attention to detail is amazing and the staff is very friendly... When you can find them. It was hard to find anyone to ask for a menu and then I had to wait a while for someone to get back to me just to order some food. In the...

If you want the heritage experience, this hotel is fine. The room was dark and dismal and the furniture old and in character, but not that comfortable. The dining was adequate but ordinary. Staff were friendly and helpful. The loction was excellent and within easy walking distance of shops and sights.

As a first night's stay in India setting out from Delhi, this is an excellent choice. The journey there is long and heavy on the senses but everything about the Mandawa Haveli (not to be confused with the one in Jaipur) is authentic and attractive. The central location is also ideal for exploring many other havelis in the town, some...

This was our first hotel outside Delhi and we were blown away!!! This is a beautifully restored traditional haveli. The decoration in astonishing. Our lovely, comfortable, spotless, cool room was on the ground floor. The steep, narrow steps up to the "library" that looks over the front gate, then up again to the rooftop restaurant were well and truly worth...

Preselected for us by Colourful Indian Holidays, this is the perfect hotel for Mandawa. If you're staying in a town famous for its havelis, why not sleep in one? Our spacious room had a lot of character and was thankfully not haunted (I kid).

Situated in Mandawa in rural India this is a restored haveli amongst a group of mainly deteriorating havelis on what was once an important town on the Silk Route. Room was basic and bed and pillow a bit hard but otherwise clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was slow and food (the thali) was bland and boringand not hot enough even...
