The hotel is situated a bit away from the Mall Road M.G. Marg or the Laal Market. The rooms are good. But the service is awe full. You have call at least 3-4 times, or sometime go down stairs to the reception to ask to refill water. Food are also very average. Also the entrance is terrible.

We stayed In Hotel Tashi Yangthil from 31st Oct to 2nd Nov.'15. Considering the remoteness of the place, the stay was comfortable. The room was good. Of course there was no view, the place being inside a bowl sorrounded by high mountains. We sat on the tarrace for sometime and enjoyed the view around. Due to the

We stayed for one night in this hotel on our trip to Sikkim. Fifteen of us stayed in 6 rooms. The staff were very friendly and the food served was excellent and it was more like a home stay. This hotel is owned by Mr Suman Mukherjee who also owns Hotel Saikripa, Gangtok. We stayed here in June 2013 and I believe its not the best time to visit Lachung. Superb Food !! Awesome View :) and fabulous service :-) made our trip memorable. The staff is very courteous and provided all the comforts we needed. The food was severed pucca on time. Kids (we had four boisterous ruffians) with us did not complain and finished their meal ! & believe me that is a big compliment.:-)

The hotel is very basic, but is very neat and clean. There are 9 rooms and a dinning area, that's it. But the location and service makes it a memorable experience. In such a cold weather and remote location, we were not expecting any great luxuries; but rather wanted basic comforts. And this hotel provided all of those. Great hot... More

Considering the location and the services available in this remote hamlet of North Sikkim, the hotel with its standard sized room - well furnished and carpeted - is worth commendable. Other attractions are the view that it offers and the healthy, not-so-spicy but delicious vegetarian food.
