The reason we decided to go to Sifnos was after seeing Sifnaika Konakia on the internet. It was even better than we expected. Everything was perfect. Sifnaika Konakia is very beautiful with lovely stonework and large, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms. Maria and her family are very nice and kind. She met and returned us to the port, gave us... More

Met the owner of Sifnaika, Maria, at the pier for the short ride to the guesthouse. She prepared a welcome drink from local fruit, and supplied walking maps and info about the island's history. A Sifnos native, she has personally walked many of the trails, and told of the many ancient watchtowers and the recently excavated Acropolis. Breakfast, served on... More

Excellent and friendly environment. Everything was just perfect from the room to the fantastic breakfast! The proximity to the port and the optional use of the bus service made our visit a no hassle experience. Please book in advance if you require a hire car especially in Summer. A good selection of restaurants serving quality food with freshly prepared salads!

I could not recommend Sifnaia Konakia more highly. It is one of the most charming places I’ve ever stayed at and it’s certainly the best value for money I’ve ever experienced. Maria is a wonderful and extremely helpful host, from picking us up at the ferry with a glass of homemade lemonade to preparing delicious breakfast treats, all served with... More

This is a simply amazing place to stay if you decide to visit Sifnos. it is not an exaggeration to say that this was the probalby the most important factor in making our visit to sifnos such a memorable one.. not the say that the island itself is not amazing.. The hotel itself is wonderful.. the location is fantastic, just... More

My family and I spent a very pleasant week at Sifnaika Konakia, which is located in Kamares, close to the harbour. The most attractive towns (Apollonia, Artemonas, Kastro) and beaches (Vathy, Cheronissos, Chryssopigi) are easily reachable by car or even by bus. The landldy, Maria Komi, is extremely kind, nice and attentive. If you plan to go to Sifnos, I... More

Our whole stay in Sifnaia Konakia was absolutely enchanting ! The place is perfectly located, 5 mn from the beach and village but just far enough to be quiet at night, with a splendid view to the bay and the hills above (and the ideal terrace and seats to enjoy it at sunset). The studios are well decorated, spotless, with... More

We spent six days in Sifnos and our stay was made memorable by Maria and her family. Their little hotel is a gem where you can have a traditional room and a relaxing balcony with a very nice view on the sea. Everything is far from the noise and confusion of peak season, but in the meantime you are at... More

This was our third time at Maria's place and for sure not the last time. Good situated, close to the harbour and beach within a calm area. Simple but very clean rooms. We enjoyed the time very much, especially the good and individual service. Thanks a lot!

Clean and bright rooms, we had room No1, aircon and balcony with seaview. If on B&B rate the breakfast is collected from the kitchen in the garden area, usually consisted of bread and pastries with lots of sweet items, the jam/honey and juice placed in your own fridge and replenished daily. Comfortable bed with mozzie net, very clean linen and... More
