We stayed 2 nights in the cottages. We had 2 cottages and they each interesting in their own way. The one cottage had a big kitchen with a full stove almost (missing an element) cleanness of which was somewhat questionable, the table was set for 4 people with a full set of dinnerware but not much, if anything else, in...

had a wonderful stay while travelling for business to Cradock, the accommodation was good and also the food. I always only stay at Victoria Manor/ Die Tuishuise when I am in Cradock for the past 11 years.

Even if you do not stay over the night (and one should) stop for breakfast as it is good value for money and lovely place to stop over . People are friendly and is part of 30 historical renovated places in the town.

Our group comprised 2 couples travelling from Johannesburg to the Sondel Beach House in Plettenberg Bay wanting to experience a bit of the Karoo "outback" going via Pearston beyond Cradock and Jansenville. The Tuis Huise in Cradock was an ideal stop-over and what a pleasant one it was. Almost 90% of the old little homes in the street belong to...

I love the sight with all the restored houses. They make a good statement in the town. It will help if tourists can get a map of interesting shops and other things. We did visit the Mountain Zebra Park! That was a high!

What a pleasure to stay at the Tuishuise. We were accommodated in one of the spacious historic family homes strung along the street that have been described as national treasures. Our house was named after Queen Victoria and her portrait was hanging opposite the fireplace in the lounge. She is not amused when guests misbehave. We has several bedrooms and...

If the Victorian hotel on the corner is not already a surprise, wait until you get the key to your own "huisje". Beautifully restored and furnished in various old styles. It is like traveling back in time.

We stayed in number 50 cottage. What a lovely stay! The cottage was 2 huge bedrooms, and even bigger and grander bathrooms! water was hot and plentiful with good water pressure. However we were mindful drought and kept the showers short. There was a lovely comfortable lounge room with TV. There was also a quaint library area with books to...
