Willkris Resort is a resort in the community of Bangsaray, about 18km from Pattaya. Along with the well appointed rooms, we have swimming pool, whirlpool, large deck, restaurant and bar. Our food and beverage prices are the best in the area. We are close to the beach and many seafood restaurants.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Arrived December 2012 and was greeted with a smile. This was the extent of the check in procedure. No deposit required no paperwork required no passport copies required, absolutely brilliant. Arrived early and room was ready. The staff are fantastic, Breakfast is what you want and when you want it with no time restrictions. All is cooked to order and to how you like it. Rooms are well equiped and clean and plenty of storage. The restaurant does thai and italian and a little english. The beer is cheaper than most of the bars which is a refreshing change. The owner can arrange anything you require from trips to taxis to washing(free) massages etc. Great place to stay and in walking distance of other bars and eateries,

We often stay at the Willkris, it is cosy, the rooms are furnished nicely, with a comfortable bed and air con. It has a family friendly feel and many people bring their children and sit around the small pool. The owners are obliging and helpful and we feel at home there. With only 12 apartments there it has an intimate feel that you don't get with resorts. Highly recommended!

I'm currently at Willkris and it's really first class. Owner Keith and his wife spare no time and expense in making this hotel a 'must stay' in Bangsare. Here are some salient points:
* Spotlessly clean
* Home made cuisine to die for. All fresh. Do try the mussels; the spaghetti and meatballs and the pizzas
* Very spacious rooms with powerful aircon and ceiling fan. Quality furniture and fitments. Fabulous bathroom and shower with hot water and clean linens

Before travelling through thailand & cambodia for 2 months,we studied each hotel reviews,in most cases they where spot on,but I am afraid not on this occasion!the compact pool area had 4 dirty,old & uncomfortable sun beds for the entire resort.the univiting jacuzzi was never used while we was there.the rooms were old & tired,in need of updating.the bed linen although clean was old & in need of replacing.on our last day there was an awful smell in the bathroom,probably a drainage problem?the patio chairs was old,worn & dirty(we had to put towels on them to sit down)this resort wants a bob or two spending on it to bring it up to standard.

We sincerely apologise for any bad experiences from this customer. It is true that during his stay there was a sewage/water treatment problem in the town that has been subsequently fixed by the city. We have installed additional equipment to prevent any further problems that may occur due to situation beyond our control. That being said, we have many many satisfied customers that appreciate the fact they are getting outstanding value for money. We do not claim to be a 5 star resort. We do try to provide a clean and economical value proposition to our guest. For under $30USD they can enjoy a nice quiet environment, A/C in all rooms, a nice sized deck with swimming pool. A nice restaurant serving good and fresh Thai and European food at excellent prices. When customers have problems we do everything we can to address them personally. That being said, if we only find out after the fact, not much we can do. If the customer was unhappy on arrival, even thru agoda booking we would have done anything possible, even up to finding and paying for alternate accommodations for them. Unfortunately, in town, similar facilities would have been 50%+ more expensive. We are always looking at upgrades and have just finished a new restaurant and professional kitchen... This place is not for everyone. It is on a small street about 10 minutes walk to the water. It is a quiet environment, though the restaurant / bar area can be lively.The building itself is a happy yellow colour - you can easily see it from the street. It is not a luxury beach front resort, but it has a minuscule price tag for what you get. There are only 11 rooms for hire, and on weekends it can be full.
The grounds are well planned and nicely maintained. The pool is a real focal point, and it is big enough for a nice relax and was right outside our door, so an added bonus.
The rooms are large with really pleasant Thai furnishings and excellent quality linen. The air-conditioner worked well (Carrier brand) and the hot water was about the best I have had outside of 4 or 5 star places.The TV was great as was the big library of DVDs, plenty of English language TV and movies. Really relaxing, and when you have watched enough, just pop outside and into the pool. Excellent!
Thu, the host speaks excellent English, Thai and Japanese. The resort is is her baby, and she tends to it lovingly.
For a rest, away from the madness of Pattaya, stay here. It feels like a comfortable home away form home. Highly recommended.

We stayed 5 nights at the Willkris and enjoyed it very much, The rooms are a good size, very clean, have great aircon and are nicely decorated. All the rooms face out over a very nice pool and garden area and the ground floor rooms have the easier access to the pool which is directly in front. There is a nice restaurant and bar on site and the food is good, the drinks are cold and the prices are very reasonable. It’s less than a 10 minute casual stroll to the beach where you will find some seafood restaurants with good food and very reasonable prices, the fishing boats dock only a couple of hundred metres from these restaurants so the seafood is always fresh. Bang Saray village is also an easy walk from the resort where you will find a 7/11, coffee shops, bakery, Pharmacy and all your basic needs. There are also a couple of very nice Temples in the Bang Saray. But best thing about this place are the very friendly owner and her staff. Nothing seems too much trouble for them and they will look after you very well and ensure you have a pleasant stay. They were happy to arrange a taxi pick to and from Bangkok and they also have cheap motorcycle hire on site as well If you are looking for a nice quiet place that is walking distance to the beach and good eating then this would be an great choice and Pattaya is only about 15 minutes away by car if you feel like a night out on the town or some serious shopping. Overall a great holiday and thanks to Tu and her staff who do such a great job.

I had the pleasure of staying with these beautiful, friendly people for a week and I am still here! 4 months on. The location is perfect, Bang Saray is peaceful with beautiful beaches but Pattaya is only half an hour away if you want to boogie. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food (Thai and Western) is excellent. The rooms are clean and large with good aircon and fans. You can relax around the pool and bar all day if you wish with poolside service readily available. The laundry service is fast and free! Interaction with the other guests, staff and Thai family is encouraged but not required. After a while I felt like one of the family.This venue like Bang Saray is Thailands best kept secret.

I have known the owner for 4 years, he has spent a lot of time and effort to develop this place. I had two mates stay there last month and they throroghly enjoyed their stay. I was very impressed with the quality of service and very high standard of the rooms. Nothing is too much trouble for their staff - massage, car/bike rental, airport pickup/ and drop off - you name it. Besides all of that Keith is a very good golfer and can give you many tips on the best places to go in the Eastern Seaboard region.. If I didn't own a house in Bang Saray I'd be staying there. Robin

I stayed here for 2 nights recently and was pleasantly surprised as many places booked on the internet are not what they appear to be in the photos. This one was better. This hotel was very clean and modern with good facilities including free wi-fi and friendly owners and staff.

This Place is around 15 mins drive from Pattaya City, located near Noong nooch garden, bansaray beach is at walking distance.
Taxi takes around 400 bath to reach this place, you can also inform resort to arrange a taxi for you.
This resort is Owned by Mr. Keith and his Wife Mrs. Thu. She is the best cook and her food is simply excellent.
Bike is Available for rent. WiFi is free.
Near by places to visit are Noong Noch Garden, Floating market, Silverlake Vineyard, Siracha Tiger Zoo, Mini Siam, The Sanctuary of Truth, and many more.
