Although the villas are basic - queen sized bed, mini fridge, tv, en suite shower - they are clean, quaint and a quiet rest spot ideally located betwee Pattaya and Sattahip. The owners are delightful and personable, welcoming me on arrival and sending me off with good cheer and a smile. There is no restaurant but only a mile away is a nice beach-oriented town and I found a great Italian restaurant with some of the best homemade lasagna I've tasted. The AO Bangsare Resort has parking, and was only a 20 minute drive from the early morning triathlon I competed in at Sattahip Naval base.
