Hotel location is really great to see uninterrupted Mt.Fuji. Hotel staffs were good at in english. Food was great and dining room staffs were very nice and friendly. Japanese style room was lovely and clean. But free-wifi was available on at the lobby. It would be perfect if we could also use free-wifi in our room. ^_^

Superbly situated for the perfect view in all its awesomeness.Arguably the best positioned place to view Mt Fuji. About 15 rooms, so low traffic and low noise.. This is a ryokan Japanese style room. Elegant and simple. Everything is spotless. The traditional Japanese dinner was first class. (Japanese food is about subtle taste) Breakfast on offer was Western (limited choice)...

I am still in awe at having a clear uninterrupted view of Mount Fuji from my balcony. I feel lucky to have had perfect weather for seeing Fuji-san. I highly recommend an overnight with a gorgeous view, this ryokan was good but could have been better. I booked the room with the private spa, it was breathtaking sitting on the...

My family stayed at Sunnide Resort on 2017/12/26, the second time for I and My wife while the first time for my two daughters. This is the follow-up review (see my previous review on https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g1165976-d1405671-r373346225-Lakeside_Kawaguchiko_Sunnide_Resort-Fujikawaguchiko_machi_Minamitsuru_gun_Yaman.html) We stayed at the 70 square-meter premium suite (Room 243) in the “Sen Ikkei” building with private open-air bath. The overall experience is just good...

Small cozy resort with great view of Fuji mountain (depending on the weather as well). We chose Japanese style bedroom and the futons were laid out for us. The food (Japanese set) was great and very well presented. Though some of the staff could not speak English well, they tried their best and the services were superb. There is a...

We stayed there for 3 nights. I loved the 2- story room with lovely layout. 2 beds 2 futons. Loved the big windows with view of Mt. Fuji. However the room was quite old. The air condition/heater was very loud and had some cracking noise from the compressor all night. (It was outside but hanging exactly right at our bed...

Always wanted a bedroom view of Fuji San. We rented a nissan note from kasai and drove 2 hours excluding a highway pit-stop for lunch. The moment the rental pulled into the driveway, a 1-man welcome committee greeted us. The reception, checked us in and brought us to the room for a personal tour. I changed, jump into our room...

A ryokan-hotel on the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, with potentially excellent views of Mt. Fuji. We stayed one night enjoying the baths and Kaiseki dinner, unfortunately without seeing the celebrated mountain hiding in the clouds. The staff did such a great job in making us feel welcome I'm sure they would even have arranged the weather for us, had it...

Could not have chosen a more perfect hotel to unwind in following 4 days sightseeing in Tokyo. Between the Onsen, private outdoor hot tub with perfect views of Mt Fuji, chilling in our yukata and working our way through the delicious 10-course meal; we were completely relaxed and recharged for the next leg of our trip in Kyoto. Perfect.
