We only went to this b&b as they accepted dogs . . If I had read the reviews first we would have stayed at home and had day trips away. What all the other reviewers have written is true. I now know why they were the only b&b available . . . The worst breakfast ever in a b&b. Lidl...

This B & B is adequate, but no more. It is supposed to be Dog friendly, but with three energetic dogs bounding round the grounds, our 'Collie' was on edge and would not settle. The dogs were even outside the bedroom door causing our dog to get agitated. It is very rare that a B&B does not even have a...

Stayed here before going over to France early the next day. I hadn't checked out the previous reviews prior to staying as I didn't want to know! Mainly because it was cheap and we just needed a bed for the night - the bedroom was clean and tidy and we had a shared bathroom. We left before breakfast (eurotunnel crossing...

We have just returned from staying at Crockshard Farmhouse in Wingham and must say it was a delight. We read the other reviews on this website and were a little concerned but as it was close to where we were heading for a wedding we decided to give it a try. We were welcomed by Nikki, the owner of the...

Having had a hotel booking elsewhere cancelled at short notice, we were beginning to think our chances of finding accommodation in the area non-existent after ringing 10 hotels without luck, so when Corckshard Farmhouse was found to offer a double room for £50 we willingly accepted even though there was no en-suite. The location is remote and very rural. The...

We arrived on Friday 7th June 2013. 2 adults & 2 kids for a 2 night stay. Exterior is very pleasant which makes the rest all the more disappointing. Front door locked - so access is via a side door and through the kitchen. A woman finally responded to our ringing the bell, she was accompanied by three barking dogs,...

My friends stayed at the Crockshard Farmhouse for 2 nights a few weeks back. Although the owners are really nice, my friends were welcomed and escorted to their room by 3 barking dogs. And that continued all the way through the weekend. They were so cold in their room that they hardly slept and so cold in the kitchen that...

Can't fail to agree with a lot of reviews (which I should have read before we went!!) So let's put this in context....we escaped home for a couple of days while our builders changed over electrics and boiler in a cold Feb. We have a dog. We don't know the Kent coast. Geographically perfectly sited for three coasts and Canterbury....

“We stayed in a great room decorated with collected travelling artefacts and ancient furniture. i liked it a lot. The room could sleep five with a double bed, 2 singles and a z-bed. Mine was very soft and comfortable. Shared bathroom but even that was quaint and interesting.”
