We stayed for two nights in the Family suite with our three year old daughter. The suite is a great size, consisting of a large main bedroom, a small bedroom with a large bunk bed, and a large bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The main room was stylish, well presented and the suite as a whole was warm and...

Highly recommend for a Sunday lunch. Really good food & friendly staff. Cauliflower cheese is amazing. Sticky toffee pudding is so good. Will definitely be having more Sunday lunches here. Nicely decorated with a warm feels by when you walk in.

Have stayed at The Dog for a few nights over the past few weeks. Great venue, beautiful food, great service, and Paddy's Room is fabulous. Highly recommend this pub to eat and drink in, and for an overnight stay.

Visited The Dog last Sunday as a noisy table of 10 for a Sunday roast. We were sat out in the conservatory part of the restaurant which was lovely and bright and perfect positioning for us so we (hopefully) didn't disrupt other diners! We pre ordered and the lady who helped us do so was really helpful. The food was...

We booked out seven of the lovely rooms for a family celebration and what a wonderful time we had! All the rooms are lovely, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We received a warm welcome when we arrived from the owner, manager and bar staff. The fire was going in...

First visit for lunch (only) since the renovation and it was flawless. Wonderful decor, excellent service by Bonnie and of course, great food. If this place doesn't satisfy you, you're one of those unsatisfiable people.

We booked into the luxury suite at The Dog on 27th February .Four poster bed in beautiful interior designed setting. So much character due to the age of the property. The Dog was rebuilt in 1666 due to a fire. It oozes character a bed that's so comfortable you don't want to get out of it. Mattress so thick you...

Stayed as part of the dinner/bed and breakfast deal, which was excellent value. Arrived Friday afternoon warmly greeted and shown to Room 5. The room whilst compact was immaculate and beautifully presented with everything you could need for a night away. Small critic would be as it's above the kitchen, a door on the kitchen would reduce the noise slightly....
