If you consider it to be a 3-star hotel, it is very nice!! Well decorated rooms, nice swimming pool, good beds and nice lobby with fine working wifi. They even offer supper for guests, until 9pm. For improvement, breakfast and supper should improve their quality a bit! We found mold in our supper bread... There are such good products in...

It's located in a quiet place. One wakes up to the sound of birds. If you want to be in touch with nature, away from the "world", it's the perfect place. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. You need car to go to the nearest town, wich is under a 5 minute drive. The pool and the resting place are wonderful.

The hotel itself was nice and was in a huge complex with swimming pools and tennis courts also the room itself was clean but the water was quite dirty and gave a smell to the bathroom. The location was I would say not a problem but very unusual the driveway up to it was very long and if not for...

We've been to hotel da ameira on my last anniversary. The hotel is great and the pool also. If you're looking for a quiet place, choose week days like us. Inside, it is very cosy, comfortable and well decorated. The missing star is for the breakfast, Alentejo has so many good stuff, we miss some of those.

you must have a car to get here and to move around. But hotel is pretty, clean and the rooms are lovely. I had a little accident while in Montemoro and the staff was eager to help with all they could. Not all of them speak English but they are helpful and nice.

As we are staying with my husband's family house in Alentejo, we just needed a place to go for swimming for our son who is 10 years old, and to sun bathe for us. One of his cousins told us about this place wherein we can just pay an all-day pass for €5/person and children 8 years old and below...

I visited what looked like a lovely establishment and arranged to run a residential art course. The owner himself, Mr Paolo Lager, assured me that there would be full reimbursement of a requested 50% deposit if not enough students enrolled and if Hotel da Ameira received 30 days advance warning. In fact, we did not get sufficient enrolment and I...

Upon arriving to the hotel we were nicely surprised with the pleasant seclusion of the hotel in Alentejo. We were greeted by very friendly receptionist who gave us the luxury to choose the room we liked best. We chose an en-suite which was spacious, clean and very cosy. Just what we needed for our working weekend. We had a problem...

It's the first time I'm giving a hotel a one star and even though I might be a bit harsh this is my impression. Staff was not helpful. Very basic room. Substandard bathroom with ALL the metal pipes on the outside looking terrible. Average breakfast. Not very well swimming poop and surrounding area. On the positive side, the entrance and...

Hotel da Ameira is located in Montemor-o-Novo, in “Herdade da Ameira”. It’s a huge property, with great outdoors, 2 swimming pools and large lounge indoors. It’s a place to rest and enjoy nature. The 3 stars hotel is quite nice. Rooms are large with ac and a little TV. It’s not a hotel to spend to much time in the...
