- Amazing view - Nice play area for kids - Rooms were very spacious - Good breakfast - Enough parking spots - Host kept everything ready for us including transport pass, area information, etc - Heiterwanger See just 15 mins - Lots of activities to do in nearby area
I have stayed at the Posthansl a few times. It is delightful. The staff are great, the accommodation spotless and comfortable, the breakfast amazing and it is good value. Heiterwang is a great place to stay to access numerous ski resorts plus Reutte and Breiterwang’s many restaurants. We will be back I am sure for many years to come
Very nice familiar atmosphere and run by lovely people ! Very child friendly and you will love to sit @ the bar after a day on the slopes. Just ask for an 'Alte Birne' or two and you're up for a pleasant evening ;-)
We liked everything. The rooms were clean & luminous, the food excellent and the surroundings were stunning. Lots of fun activities and the hotel staff was very helpful & friendly. We will definitely return!
I was skeptical first if this is not in too remote place, however I LOVE it. Small village, quiet place, wonderful mountain view from our balcony and very friendly and welcoming owners, what to need more? Only few minutes driving from Reutte if someone is looking for restaurants or stores. However much closer to Highline 179, Ehrenberg Schloss, Zugspitze or mountain hiking than Reutte. Only downsize are smokers even on the next door balcony. Rooms are spacious even for three people. We did not have a problem with Wi-Fi (important for teenagers :-) ) Pleasing breakfast with a great choice of bread and rolls. Thank you to make our stay comfortable.
This hotel is located in a small village in Austria. Beautiful view from our balcony. Quiet location. Spacious room. Bathroom was outdated but it was clean and well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and enjoyed visiting with the guests. Sadly, smoking still prevails in Austria, couldn't stay in lounge to enjoy company.
We stayed here for two nights, amazing big rooms, and nice and warm! I would definitely recommend taking advantage of their dinner option - the food was incredible. Breakfast also. Thank you - I hope we will be back one day in the ski season...
We had a really comfortable stay in clean, cosy, welcoming rooms. The view from the room balcony of the snow and Alps was amazing. Wifi in the rooms was weak, and the buffet breakfast was not speedily replenished.
I just wish we could have stayed here longer. The rooms are good sized with private bath & shower. Our windows opened to views of the Alps (such as we could see in rainy, drizzly weather). The owner spoke English to me and German with our exchange daughter. You can make reservations (required) for supper in the hotel. There is a choice of 2 main menu items as they have a small kitchen that you order in advance. You can sit in the dining room or out in the covered "garden" room for the views. There is also a restaurant "around the corner" if you want other choices. They accommodated our need to leave early the next morning by getting breakfast out as quickly as they could, and we were able to take an extra roll with meat or cheese for our lunch. The room door keys are on quaint heavy knobs - I don't think you'll ever see anything like that in the USA! The bed was very comfortable. I think they help people find recreational opportunities year around as they had photos from the winter months. She gave us good advice about the travel time to various sites. The price was very reasonable for the 2 of us - 66 Euro with the evening meal extra. I'd go back for an extended stay to explore the area in a heartbeat!…
We stopped over here on the way down to Italy coming from Scandinavia. It is a bit of a different route (driving over Fernpass) than driving through Munich as we normally do. But didn't seem longer. Regarding the hotel it is clean and rooms are big and considering the relatively cheap price, the breakfast was also nice. Recommendable.
