It used to be well managed, but things have begun to go downhill.
The rooms and the restaurant are nicely decorated in kitschy pseudo Tyrolean wooden deco.

Excellent value, spacious and friendly. Just make sure you approach from Junction 27, otherwise you'll get lost like we did. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Rooms modern, clean and characterful. The small suites are especially good.

In a nutshell: The hotel is _very_ cheap, has big rooms and a quite opulent kitchen. The low price mitigates several deficiencies, which should be considered. However, i can fully recommend this hotel for winter (snow hiking, ski touring) or sommer (hiking) activities.
