Kokkedal Slot (castle) is a beautifully restored castle from the middle ages. All rooms have canopy beds, and they don't feel like an average hotel room. It is situated in a beautiful and quaint area by Limfjorden. Perfect for relaxation.

What can I say, one of the best places I have been to so far. If you want a peace of mind, beautiful nature, and a friendly staff you know where to go in Denmark then! The staff is brilliant, the cooks are super nice and friendly they make sure to go miles from their menu to please guests and...

We stayed here during xmas, and I have nothing but good things to say about this amazing castle. The staff catered to our every need during the entire 3-day stay. The meals were perfect and the wine excellent. Althouh a tad worn down, the rooms were on par. And, who cares if things has age to it? Its a medieval...

I love creaky floors and drafty windows of historical structures but this hotel is a little exaggerated. To access the second floor you need to go up an extremely steep, narrow staircase that makes you feel like the floor will collapse at any point. The advertised swimming pool and sauna is open only in the summer time (so 2 weeks...

On our Denmark trip we wanted to end the holidays somewhat special. What could be better than this castle hotel.Theese are the nicest rooms we seen so far,and we have traveled around most of the European countries. All rooms are different decorated, when you enter a room you are put back on time,to a very romantic period.Every day the chef has a...

Arriving you're greeted at the stairs by a butler who will help you where to go. The castle itself is beautiful and everything is first class. The restaurant is also truly amazing. The outdoor champagne bar is definitely worth a visit where they also serve excellent drinks and special beers

We stayed at Kokkedal for a weekend, attending a wedding at the castle. I have never visited any hotel, restaurant, etc where the staff was so attentive, so helpful, so well-informed; just so good at what the do. The just floated around and made things happen without anyone noticing. As a vegetarian I'm always a bit skeptical before big events...

The hotel is beautifully located, with amazing views and surroundings. The castle is impressive, and definitely has the potential to be a top hotel. However, at the moment, this is not the case. We were surprised that the staff didn't put more effort into making us feel more welcome - in fact, not even the check-in guy welcomed us to...

A truly beautiful country house location with high end rooms and great views. Here for a work event and this was a great venue. Good was excellent with a real local sourcing feel. So I didn't sleep well which was a little to do with it being warm. Staff on the whole helpful. At times I felt there was some...

Beautiful location, about half hour from city centre. We booked here due to an event being held at the hotel. Breakfast was quite OK with a nice range of options. The service at the hotel was good. If you want to try the spa, better book it before you arrive!
