It was a very big and well kept property. Large Cottages. Incredible fishing for bass, pike, pickerel, perch and pan fish!! Very secluded and quiet area. You really feel like you are "up north in Canada".

My kids grew up vacationing here. Cottages have all you would expect and more of a resort in such a remote location. The staff is like family. The fishing is very good, but it takes some time to learn the lake. One of the prettiest lakes you will ever see.

I have been coming to Tumblehome for over 30 years with family and good friends. Arrived yesterday and already have walleye to eat. Clean, gorgeous cabins and a waterfront that is kept pristine. Wonderful and informative owners and staff!

Spent a long weekend getaway here. Stayed in the one bedroom efficiency, no frills, comfy bed. If you go in July, bring a fan to help with air circulation. Ward was super friendly, and eagerly shared best fishing spots and tackle. Bring your kayaks, too - beautiful paddling awaits!

My wife's family have been going there every summer for over twenty years. In that time they've modernized and expanded but still maintains the rustic homey feel that makes you keep coming back! The peace and quiet is absolute and most welcome for a city dweller, but your cell phone won't work there so be prepared. For me that was...

I went here with a large group of coworkers (~25) for a weekend, and this place did well for what we needed, which was a simple place where we could relax, drink some beers and go fishing. The cabins were clean, beds were comfortable, and our grouping of cabins felt secluded from the others where we didn't need to worry...

We have been going fishing at Tumblehome for 5 years now. We go spring, summer and fall. We love it - if you like to fish and enjoy challenging fishing, it is a great place. The staff are super friendly and hellpful.

We have been vacationing here every summer for nearly 20 years. The Lake is "absolutely fabulous!" The only real accommodations are the two lodges at the south end of the lake; the rest is unencumbered by anything but trees. Fishing is good and there are scores of places to park the boat, cook out and swim during the day. There...

This place is heaven on earth. The owner and Staff go out of their way to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. The sounds of the loons and the peace and quiet out on the lake is what we enjoy. This is one place that I cannot get enough of. Hopefully we can go this year.
