Once again we treated ourselves to a two night stay in Cestayrols with Jan and Murray Turnbull on our way south into Spain. Chateau Cestayrols has a magical quality to it, almost suspended in time. The warm stone walls, the full blown roses in the garden, the way the sun filters through the archways into the swimming pool, bliss. Jan...

We stayed 3 nights at Chateau Cestayrols. The owners, Murray and Jan were delightful hosts. They were quick to respond to any questions and they provided us with a lovely breakfast every morning. The B&B is part of an old Chateau and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are modern. The Chateau has lots of charm and has...

My wife and I first stayed once and loved our visit. Coming back again after nearly eight years, but alone, I was made to feel just as welcome and almost one of the family. With Albi and its glorious cathedral and Gaillac with its Mr Bricolage a short drive away there is much to do in the area and the...

All I need to say is that I concur with everything said by all the previous reviewers. There was beautiful light at sunrise and sunset, and found the best evening light from the cemetery and the morning light looking up at the aircraft trails against the phone lines and, more conventionally of the church tower.

My wife and I stayed 10 nights at this truly wonderful B&B in June. We originally booked for 6 nights but the longer we stayed the longer we wanted to stay such was the great pleasure and enjoyment of staying at both this beautiful 15th century renovated property and also, the surrounding region. The B&B is located in the small...

We stayed at Chateau Cestayrols for five nights. The gracious hospitality that Murray and Jan showed us was second to none. We found the rooms charming, bathroom spacious, the setting glorious, and breakfasts generous. Our hosts provided us with excellent advice about where to go and what to see as well as the best places to shop in the surrounding...

My husband and I stayed at this superb bed and breakfast in October. It was an absolute highlight of our 9 weeks in Europe. Jan and Murray are the nicest people you would ever meet. Their tasteful furnishing of the fabulous chateaux is faultless. Their hospitality is relaxed and welcoming, whilst no detail is left forgotten. All is achieved with...

We stayed at Chateau Cestayrols last year, not long after it had opened as a B&B, and enjoyed it so much we returned for another stay this year. It is an absolutely beautiful property - the photos do not really do it justice. It is situated in a small village surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers in a particularly attractive and...

We recently stayed for two nights with Murray and Jan and so wished we had stayed longer. They are from Australia and started a new life at Chateau Cestayrols in recent years and they are quite simply the perfect hosts. They have thought of everything and you want for nothing, they can't do enough to make your stay welcome. The...
