We arrived to Ormos Atalia august 2016. When we arrived we were accommodated at room with no windows!!! Balcony was shared with another room and it was terrible balcony with very old and disgusting equipment. There was pot with rough flowers (couldn´t anybody move it away??). Balcony was very noisy as there was ventilator from the kitchen close. Balcony faced... More

Hotel is quite close from airport in lovely village. There are a lot of homely tavernas and bars. We had modest room but nice and always clean. Food was always very tasty! The nearest beach is the nicest in village. Rocks and clear sea, good for snorkeling. I recommend rent a car and do some trips across island. We spent... More

Positive: friendly staff, nice view, good atmosphere, clean rooms, arrived at 2 in the morning and Laki served us food! Bar pool and area, beach close to hotel! Negative: hard beds, food (nothing for vegetarians), hotel bit far on the top of the mountain. In total: it is a good 3 star hotel but better rent a car!

After reading various reviews about the accommodation, food etc we were a little nervous but once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Arriving at 10.30 at night a meal was prepared for us and a drink. The food during the week was really nice, plenty of variety and I'm a fussy eater. Nice staff, good variety of drinks at reasonable... More

We have spent a wonderful vacation in this hotel - 11 nights, but when we were leaving, we wished it could have been more. The older part of the hotel and the pool area are surrounded by beautiful flower garden. The views of the sea from the hotel are stunning, because hotel is built up on a cliff above two... More

I spent 10 magnificent days in Bali, Crete. The sun, sea and Greek people enchanted me in every way. And so did this smaller hotel with its staff - clean room with nice view, perfect food, smiling and helpful people. A perfect base for making trips and walking around.. Great choice of vegetables and typical Greek food (cheese, yogurt, olives)... More

my third trip within 12 years led to Crete and after long recherché I decided for the destination Bali. Bali is small provincial towm at the sea between Iraklio and Rethymnon. Do not expect any sightseeing or special attraction (Small aqua park for kids- inflatable complex on the sea- 7EUR/hour) . This is sleepy, calm place for easy holidays. Beaches... More

We arrived at 3 am in the morning to find a key stuck to a door and then we had to find our room. There are many levels to this hotel and the numbers don't run in sequence so it took nearly an hour to find it !! The Ormos Atalia is a unique place to stay with stunning views of the sea and mountains from most of the rooms. The property is planted with beautiful gardens of roses, banana trees, jasmine, bottle brush trees and bougainvillea which provide privacy for the rooms, which are arranged on varying levels, most with private balconies.
