Beautiful, well maintained campsite at the riverside. Very friendly staff too. Possibility to make rivertrips, although you better make them at kasane. Easy access to the zambian border. But once in Zambia, the road is really bad (potholes everywhere, drive slow).

We stayed there just for one night on our way back from Zambia through Caprivi and we enjoyed our stay there. The nice and clean camp sites are directly located at the river side. We enjoyed the pool in the afternoon and the good dinner in the evening.

As the title states that's what we did, both to and from Etosha, clean, quiet, and along the bay of the Zambezi what more could your so for, budget priced and whilst some have called it's souless we found it friendly, practical and budget priced, would eminently endorse and stay again.

In our recent 3 week camping trip around Botswana and Caprivi, Namwi Island was definitely the best camping spot we had - right on the Zambezi waters edge. One dreams of camping sites just like this, to just sit and watch the water flow by. The camp grounds are beautifully maintained, lush tall trees and grassed. The ablutions were very...

We have stopped here each time we visit Namibia. The grounds are very well maintained, campsites are grassed and paved under shade. The ablutions are spacious, neat and clean. Very safe and convenient not far from Katima yet totally in the bush on the Zambezi River.

Namwi Island is a must to visit in the Katima Mulelo area Caprivi The resort is maintained to perfection, reception excellent, bungalows ideal for self catering with everything you will need. The camp sites very neat and paved - ideal for caravans. Power and water on each site. No wifi, but the stunning view on the Zambezi River will not...

We had a nice stay. The staff is really friendly. The place is beautiful and well maintained. Except the swimming pool. The luxury rooms are very nice and have aircon. The family room is quite spacious but gets hot because the aircon is only in main bedroom.
