This is a newly built hotel on the edge of town. It is very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is extensive and good quality. Parking is convenient. Phetchabun City is relatively small (no airline or train service) so getting around is easy.

This is a nice, clean hotel but as a solo traveller without my own transport I found it too isolated. It’s a walk of about 750m with no shade to the main road.
The hotel looks almost new and is quite stylish, with a good buffet breakfast included. My room had a lovely view over ricefields with mountains in the distance, and a safe, bar fridge, good air conditioning and lighting, and a kettle with tea and coffee. The free wifi did not work very well, and the flat screen TV did not have any foreign language news channels. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but it was quiet at night.
The strangest thing about this hotel was the configuration of the bathroom. There was no soap at the hand basin, so I had to get the dreaded liquid soap from the shower by standing on the raised edge of the shower recess, then turn around while standing on the edge to wash my hands.
There are few taxis in town, and you have to ask the hotel to call one. The usual waiting time was about 10 minutes, and the fare to most places in town is B60-70; all the taxis I used had meters, but none of them worked.I went to the Big C Centre and had to wait 30 minutes for a taxi back to the hotel, so it’s best to ask the taxi to wait while you do your shopping.
The most interesting part of town is the old town along the river, and it would be easy to miss this area as it’s off the main roads.
I stayed here mainly to visit Khao Kho; it was a bit hard to find out how to get there, but the staff at the main bus station were very helpful and directed me to municipal market no. 2 (talaat tessaban 2), near the SR supermarket. I caught a red songthaew at 9am for B60, then hired it for another B600 to get around Khao Kho as there is no other transport available. I was the only passenger, and this run is mainly to deliver supplies to restaurants and guest houses. I spent a pleasant 2 hours visiting the Weaponry Museum and monument, royal palace, a waterfall and strawberry fields.
If you go to Khao Kho like I did just as a day trip, you need to make sure you can get back to Phetchabun the same day, and the only way to do this is to hire the same songthaew. There was another songthaew parked at tessaban 2 that morning, but no sign of any activity.

On arrival at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised its relatively new clean and fresh, check in was quick and easy our room was large and bright with one wall completely glass leading out to the balcony everything was shiny clean, the bathroom was compact but modern and clean with a great shower. We had dinner at the hotel on both nights we were there, for a hotel it was good and adequate with good friendly service ( if you order european food be prepared to wait longer). The restaurant is around the swimming pool with a good bar and live music most nights. There’s a separate breakfast room which serves a buffet breakfast, food typical of a Thai hotel a small european selection.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this hotel but would ask for another room in a different part of the hotel, we were in room 219 a beautiful room overlooking the swimming pool and bar great until you want to go to bed early and find that you can hear all the live music until very late so if you like to go to bed early ask for a room away from the bar end, the other thing we have to be negative about are the stray dogs in the car park both nights we were there we were woken in the early hours with them barking.
This is a very nice hotel and we would definitely recommend if you need a room in Phetchabun.
Note we have a car if you don’t have transport check with the hotel what’s available as its a bit out of the way.

Staying here right now, I rang and booked for my family, as we wanted to go to the big temple up the road from here...
Looks a fairly new place, very clean and sharp, staff all smiling away, which is nice to see. Rooms are very crisp and clean, contempary design, quite spacious, bathrooms especially nice.
Not the cheapest place in town but for the five of us, in two rooms, 2400 baht, including breakfast, so to me, worth it..
Stunning vistas of rice fields and mountains on one side, not so hot on the other, just mountains off in the distance and civilisation ... Hot tip, ask for a even numbered room, that's the nice view side.... But, not say, 402 or 404, they are near the kitchen and the big exhaust fans, so plenty of cooking smells, trust me, I was in 402...
Very nice pool to have a dip in, and a bar and light meals there too, although I didn't see any towels available other than one's room towel, again very nice views and breezy design make it nice just to hang and chill by the pool..
Haven't had the brekky here yet but I'm assuming it's the standard buffet and fruit platters, but the restaurant is all white and looks chic, prices aren't too bad, farang and Thai food...
The gym is nice too, go for a bit of a workout then hit the pool, nice after the long drive up here.
I think staying here is far cheaper than splashing out for a mountain resort unless that's what you're into... Most people, they will go to Wat Phra Sorn Kaew, that's 20 km away and a easy drive... Better than paying 3 times that and having to eat mountain resort food, unless that's your plan... Here is far better..

My girlfriend's family lives in Phetchabun, so we needed to head up there for a visit. This hotel is located less than a kilometer off of the main road. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills and rice fields from the pool/bar area. The hotel is only a few years old, so everything is in good shape, clean and well kept. We had one of the larger rooms, with plenty of space and a huge shower. Breakfast was pretty good and the food in the pool area was very good. Huge selection of craft beers if you are into that. We will defintely stay here again.

The staff are good and friendly and the rooms are comfy with a good view. The Restaurant is good and well priced, the breakfast was very disappointing, its a Thai affair but even the Thais with me said it was not tasty, the toast and fruit were ok. Outside there is a Thai BBQ at 139 bts a person and opposite that is another restaurant. Turn right towards town and 80m are 2 more restaurants. Town is a fair walk. Be aware the tv channels are all Thai, there is no other Language.

It’s a fairly new place, very modern by Thai standards for an out of the way town. I would have given it five stars if not for a few things.
The room and bed were excellent, complete with a couple of bottles of cold water and coffee making facilities for that first cup. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with a European style bidet toilet. Towels were nice and fluffy and felt like new. Air conditioning was very quiet and provided a good night’s sleep.
Parking was abundant.
The hotel also has an excellent swimming pool with seats all around the pool.
The staff were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as could be working through the language barrier, it is country Thailand not Bangkok.

The drawbacks for me were the rooms were incredibly hot on arrival, we had the side with mountain views however that’s also the side the sun sets, despite the curtains being drawn the sun just blasted through. It took at least 30 minutes for the room too cool down, must also say the three nights we stayed there the temperature was between 38 and 40c every day. The corridors were also not air conditioned and were like walking into a sauna room. I really do think that if a hotel knows when you are arriving that they turn on the aircon 30 minutes before you arrive.
The hotel also needs some pest control to get rid of the pigeons who sit on your balcony rail and start cooking at 6.00am in the morning.
The breakfast menu was quite comprehensive certainly more so if you enjoy a Thai breakfast. The western breakfast is a complete waste of time, cold fried eggs, slices of ham in tepid water, and mini frankfurters posing as sausages. The bread although was fresh and the butter was kept on ice. Cereal was also an alternative.
Check in was quite fast, however I felt like a dummy as no one informed that the lift needed the room card to operate.
All in all it’s worth the stay, the forth floor has some good views, just need to ask for the mountain views.
The hotel is about half a kilometre of the main drag about halfway between the town centre and the Big C shopping centre and cinema complex.
Heaps of eating places around although the hotel has its own restaurant in the complex with very good Thai food.
