Just returned from a three night stay in Chateau des Vigiers. A friend of ours was getting married a few miles away and this suited us for location. We had a great time - very comfortable and spectacular weather. A few hopefully helpful comments: The room We had a room in the main Chateau. This was suitably oldy-worldy with beams...

My wife and I stayed here two nights while in a Backroads Bike trip. The room was spacious with 40 foot ceilings and comfortable elegant furniture. The grounds surround a golf course so if you love golf you should enjoy this hotel. We eat both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were very satisfied with both. Dinner was an...

Great place to stay Me and my wife stayed here 25 to 29 August whilst dealing with a house purchase 6 km down the road as we are NOT leaving EU. We didn't want to leave. Food, weather, location are all great. Staff are so helpful. We stayed in the actual chateau and the room was outstanding.

We booked 7 nights in The Relais and didn't want to leave!. A stunning chateau set amidst a golf course, grapevines and a spa what more could you want, even though neither of us actually play golf!!. We stayed in The Relais which is a large beautiful timber block just over from the Chateau. Our room was huge with a...

My wife and stayed at Vigiers in July. We had a very nice room in the main Chateau and were made to feel very welcome. The Michelin * restaurant was excellent and the Sommelier was very attentive without being pushy. The Michelin restaurant is shut on a Wednesday which was a shame because the Brasserie is average and the service...

Delightful stay at this beautiful chateau. It is a bit secluded but is definitely worth staying for a couple nights. It has a terrific golf course and fine dining. My wife and I do not play golf but we enjoyed the delightful grounds, good food, excellent service, and the lovely countryside. Staff were terrific.

We stayed here for just one night on our way back from a trip in Northern France, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. The only downside to the trip was that, since we booked last minute, the only room available was in the Relais, which I didn't consider to be to the standard of a Chateau. They were rather plain, and...

A lovely blend of beautiful Bergerac countryside, vineyards, golf, great wine and delicious food. Staff were well trained and courteous. As golfers, we found having 3 loops of nine holes interesting. Pro shop staff friendly and helpful. Chateau Vigiers ticked all the boxes for us.

First trip to Dordogne. Lovely countryside. This is a beautiful 17th Century chateau--nice public rooms, beautiful golf course. Some "additions" to the property -- we stayed in a fairly new "villa" -- 2 stories, 1BR/2BA, nice peaceful terrace with the added bonus of a bird nest in the corner with 4 baby birds, just learning to fly! Bottle of wine...
