This place is well equipped and the staff are just fantastic. I wish I could have stayed longer. The water feature was lovely. Showers were hot and Laundry 24 hour. Very clean and children friendly. The bus is just outside the camp site.

Had a lovely stop over on the way to Spain. Lovely open site, clean and tidy. Lovely walks round the lakes. Excellent clean and heated toilet blocks. Very friendly and helpful staff indicating directions to supermarkets

Well run site - route description in Caravan Club directions misleading. - Staff very helpful - our caravan pitch a little awkward to park in - showers and toilet units clean but with sand on pathways they had difficulty in keeping up with cleaning.

Lovely site in a perfect position. Excellent stopover on way to and from Spain. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Toilets and showers always clean and modern. Very central for sightseeing. Everything you could want or need is on hand. Has a little shop for essentials. You can even wash your vehicles if need be.

Nice and clean camping. Little water park for kids and a jumping castle. Wifi is working fine. The restaurant is only open at very limited hours. A bit boring after more than a day. I don't know if there is anything much to do in the area

We had a fantastic time here in our Motorhome, the facilities were faultless, lovely and clean, the camping area was so nice with views over the beautiful ponds, close to the bus stop and an easy trip to the centre 3 E, the staff were so helpful and the morning deliveries of croissants and baguettes were a lovely way to...

We stayed in a cabin by the lake. We brought dogs and it was convenient. Had good points and bad. We booked on line and the website was very confusing, we tried to book three nights but somehow managed to book only three, so were surprised when they wanted another 80 odd euros for a third night. Could have stayed...

Large caravan site. It is a good stopover site to travel to Spain or Portugal. Direction were awful. Caravan club book, sat nav and web all different. Bit dodgy on the motorways. Great site for visiting Bordeaux. Catch 73 bus to tram, tram into city 1.50euro. Showers and toilets good but mixed. Good launderette.

Close enough to Bordeaux to get there easily by tram, or bike. Fairly pleasant site, but motor home pitches are variable, some are difficult to get into unless you have a very small van, there is a lot of sand on some them and overhanging trees can be a problem. Even if you book in advance, you aren't allocated a...

We were looking for a camping site and Le Village du Lac claims to be one but it is dominated by cabins and the pitches for tents aren't particulalry nice. The sandy ground doesn't provide good holding for tent pegs. We were surprised to have wi-fi in our tent even though the connectivity was flaky. The site though was pretty...
